An excellent experience. I visited Dr. Vincent in 2009 along with two other surgeons in regards to some facial work. At the time, I was 41 years old. I was impressed with Dr. Vincent's honesty about the minimal work he suggested since I was young and my skin was in good shape. The other two surgeons recommended full face lifts at more than twice the cost. After having already consulted with Dr. Vincent, I felt the other two surgeons were simply desperate for the work since the economy had tanked and elective surgery was the last thing most people were spending their money on at the time. Fast forward, 5 years. I have a very important event coming in August that I wanted to look my best for. I called Dr. Vincent's office and although my consultation had been over 5 years ago, they were able to make a consultation that very day. Under my time constraints, Dr. Vincent's office worked around my schedule and scheduled my surgery for two weeks later. I had a swift lift, an eyelid lift and a chin implant. I was extremely nervous and anxious and didn't sleep the night before. When I told this to Dr. Vincent the morning of surgery, Dr. Vincent said he would be "worried if I wasn't anxious and nervous." I stated that I only intended on doing this once in my lifetime and he replied that he is "holding me to that." I really appreciated his view that even though he earns his living as a cosmetic surgeon, he agrees that it to should be used in moderation. The surgery went great. The doctors, nurses and additional staff were great. I felt "great" the night of the surgery when Dr. Mackay called to see how I was doing. On a pain scale for the 3 procedures, the week before I had my cosmetic surgery I had a horrible toothache that I needed a root canal on. I was taking Lortab that didn't touch the tooth pain. Comparatively speaking, the tooth pain was an extreme 10 whereas the entire 3 procedures were no more than a 2 on a pain scale (I only took the prescribed Percocet for 1 day then over the counter Tylenol twice during the week). The eyelid lift burned a little but was relieved with cold ice packs (burning is compared to mild sunscreen in your eyes). The swift lift is basically painless except the incisions which of course are sore. My chin was numb and my neck sore from the chin lift. Talking and eating took a little more effort and I ate softer food with smaller bites. I purchased the recovery vitamins for $100 to take before, during and after surgery as I was told they speed up the healing process and I have to tell you that everyone is amazed from day to day how I heal. I still have some chin and eye bruising and the sides of my face are somewhat numb. I started walking 4 miles on a treadmill 2 days after the surgery. I cannot tell you how much better I feel when I'm finished. It's like my blood gets flowing through my body and I can literally feel the sensation coming back in all parts of my face. Today is my 1 week appointment. I'm anxious to get the stitches out behind my ears and I can't wait for a week or two to see the new me!

EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE!!! After 8 years of research and consultation, I decided with Dr. Drake Vincent to correct the aging aspects of my face and neck. In Nov 2013 I had SwiftLift w/ extensions, platysma band correction under chin and center neck, Co2 to lower lids, and small amt. of silicone filler to right side of nose. Everything went great! 5 wks post op and all is perfect and then some. Swift Lift incision behind my ear; can’t see them. Incisions in front of my ear are VERY hard to find. When choosing a surgeon to perform cosmetic procedures, be careful running to a plastic surgeon vs. a cosmetic surgeon thinking you’ll get a better job (Dr. Vincent corrected what a plastic surgeon did to my nose 18 yrs ago). I finally choose Dr. Vincent to perform my facial surgery for his experience, extensive training in the face and neck anatomy, artistic insight to the body, you can tell he loves what he does, and the price is very good. Just remember, he’ll do his part but half the work is up to you. Get in shape, buy the Recovery Program, and follow all instructions. Sincerely, Greg (59 yrs old). UPDATE: now 3 months post op and it’s perfect. Now having laser work done (combination of Active FX and IPL) to smooth out skin on neck and face.
As a compulsive PhD, I diligently researched for months the best ways of getting rid of my jowls. I settled on Dr Vincent for the procedure, which included Swift Lift. I went into the operation with some trepidation, but came away with no discomfort (never used his pain pills) after a fairly extensive operation. When I had my stitches removed locally, my doctor marveled at the quality of the work (I didn't solicit the comments). The visible results honestly exceeded my expectations. For the first time in 40 years I actually was pleased to look at my profile. Six years after the operation people still don't believe me when I tell them my age; their guesses are usually 10-15 years too young. I plan to return for a possible bleph procedure on my eyes. Gotta say, this guy, is really, really good at what he does!
