My company recently relocated our office into downtown SLC. Saw this restaurant's banner on the north side of South Temple at about E street (500 East) as I was headed back to the office from an appointment one day. Tried it for lunch. I had the Angus Beef sliders. Had a choice of Bacon BBQ Cheddar, Wild Mushroom or Manchego--couldn't make up my mind so I got one of each. Terrific. Came in to the office last night to get ready for Monday, and felt a little hungry so I tried it again. Ordered the White Truffle Wild Mushroom Risotto. Better. So good in fact, that I went for lunch again today. Ordered their soup of the day, Ham & Corn Chowder. Excellent. Waiters are good-natured and helpful. Food is consistently tasty. Atmosphere is super comfortable! What more can I say? Hope this was helpful.
This is not really a review, as we have not visited this particular IHOP yet... but plan to do so in the next few weeks... LET'S HOPE that this IHOP gets the order out to the customers FASTER than the other IHOPs we have visited! We usually go to the IHOPs in OREM and SPRINGVILLE, and even though we generally go there between 3-4 AM when there are few other people there, they are as slow as molasses!!! And even though we always enjoy the food, we nearly always get very irritated at the slow delivery, so therefore rarely leave a tip! (Yet, it's probably the cook's fault - not the servers). Shameful, huh? After we visit this IHOP on 2100 S., we will write again and let you know what we thought. Sleepless in Orem
I live on the west side close to the Denny's on 3500 S. I vowed to never try Denny"s again after my experience there. Until I gave in to my friends and we went to the Murray Denny's. What an experience, exceptional service, great food and a decent price. The crew at Murray Denny's made a believer out of me.
