Westward Motel

Place was much nicer then i anticipated ! Randy pretty shady dude though ! I called about reservations month and a half in advance for 3 rooms for 3 days possibly 4. You have to leave a message&hell get back to you when he can I guess. I had to leave a few before I talked to him. I was told he didnt have the enough rooms then called me back and told me somebody cancelled & i was good for my dates for 3 nights with a possibility of a 4th. I asked if i should reserve the 4th since i wasnt sure if I was gonna stay that long. he said dont worry about it it will be open for me and if we decide to stay thaT 4TH night just let him know that day since well already have the rooms. which was cool! 2 weeks before our trip randy calls my buddy that was going on the trip with me and told him that i had cancelled the rooms ! My buddy told him he was wrong! Randy disagreed with him ! my buddy called me and told me what was going on so I called Randy and left a message to get back to me ASAP ! Randy called me back and told me the original guy who cancelled had a buddy who wanted rooms and took 3 of the 4 rooms he had ! LEFT ME HIGH & DRY 2 weeks before my trip. so i had to scrammble to find other arrangements for my buddies. Randy called me again and then told me he had 2 rooms available now & he would let us rent personel 5th wheel across the street. I took the 2 rooms . we were all good again he assured me for 3 nights possibly 4 ! I recieved a missed call from Randy a week later so i called back & left a message ! He called back and we talked & he told me was an old call which old calls dont come up as recent missed calls on your phone! Anyways he assured me again we were all good , no problems 3 nights possibly 4 and not to worry bout 4th night because i asked about it again? anyways on that 4th day of our trip at 530 am we talk to Randy outside as were gettin ready to leave for hunting . I tell him hey were gonna stay for the 4th nights & he tell me oh i rented one of your rooms out already & we had to clear it out early . Hedenied ever telling me that we were ok & not to worry bout staying that 4th night then argued bout it . well we had to end our trip a day early because of it. The guys not trust worthy !!!! we never got clean towels, garbage cans cleaned, or any new toilet paper. The place was nice BUT will never spend my money there again because of lack of management skills !!!! Didnt even mind the lack of room service but Randys gotta get it together !!!!

This is the best motel within 60 miles from any direction of Salome, AZ. The rooms are large and clean with queen size beds. The staff at the Westward are friendly and very helpfull. We would recommend the Westward to anyone that is traveling on old Highway 60.
