Wagner Portrait Group

Wagner Portrait Group has let us down year after year. My school district contracts with them to take school portraits and produce a yearbook. The yearbooks are hideous, and for three out of the last four years, my children have been pictured in the incorrect grade level. The pictures are consistently disappointing - the lighting, poses and exposure are not as good as they should be.



This year, however, was the worst. My 8th grader brought home a proof that did not have his name on it - apparently his portrait was taken but his personal data did not appear with it, his proof came back to the school as 'unidentified' and a teacher knew who he was. When I tried to get the package which I paid for, I got the runaround both over the phone and by e-mail. Two months later, I finally got pictures - they were shippped UPS Ground in a soft envelope (not even marked 'do not bend') and of course were ruined before I opened them. So, two weeks before Christmas, I asked once again for replacements, and I asked that they be shipped to my home in a hard-sided package. Instead, they sent another soft envelope TO THE SCHOOL so my 11-year-old could bring it home in his backpack. They blamed the delivery service for damaged pictures and took no responsibility for the awful service. They never addressed why it took them weeks to even respond to my messages. The two individuals I dealt with have Wagner in their name; I don't suppose there will be any internal repercussions for their failure. I recommend NOT employing them for any services at all.
