I randomly stop by because my bumper was falling off and they dropped everything to put it back on. I was very pleased and the workers were both knowledge gentlemen. I would definitely recommend taking your car here for repairs of any kind. Thank yout guys

This is a response to the review by Ashley Burke the only miscommunication was between her and her insurance company. We wrote a preliminary estimate at first glance but she was told that her insurance company would write their own estimate because they are the ones paying for the repairs. Her insurance company mailed her a copy of that estimate. She was under the impression that when you make a claim on your own insurance you somehow get to pocket money and profit from the claim when that is not the case. She became upset the day of pick because we did not accept her form of payment which was a credit card and check book not in her name. As a small business sometimes people think that we might be more relaxed with forms of payment but she did not understand that we could not take her payment because the person whos check book and credit card she was attemting to pay with was not present. So understandible we could not release her vehicle without payment. The customer was asked to bring a chashiers check from her bank or a money order she was never told that we only accept cash we just did not feel comfortable accepting a credit card from her after attempting to use someones elses card and checkbook. Her mothers boyfriend ended up paying the balance for her with a TCF chashiers check and he inspected the vehicle at delivery and was very satisfied. The customer has never contacted us regarding any issues with her paint. If anyone has questions regarding her claims please feel free to contact us we do have all of the estimates which were written by her insurance not by us so they set the price of the repairs. We also have a police report on file where she states in front of the officer that "she did not even have to fix her vehicle if she did not want to" that even though she made a claim on her own insurance she could of kept the money and not repaired the vehicle.

I had a horrible experience with this shop.. I have had little experience with auto shops and didn't know what to expect, but I know this is not how businesses should opperate. The owner was nice enough, but they lack communication skills. The owners husband was there when I went to pick up my car, (way later than expected) he got mad that I was upset about a price change that I was not informed about ahead of time, and refused to give me my car. They held my car hostage until I agreed to pay a price that was more then what I was originally quoted, and then told me they would only except cash payment because they knew I was upset and they were afraid I would cancel the payment. When I finally got my car back (which they would not allow me to pick up myself) the paint job was bubbling up, which they claimed was from rock chips. I have since had other professionals look at the paint job and inform me that there is no way those bubbles are from rock chips. The other work they did on my bumper and headlight was fine and I have heard they have a good reputation otherwise.. Hopefully it was just a one time occurance..

I took my dodge neon to Okeeffes to get my bumpers and hood fixed. I got backed into in a parking and didn't realize how bad the damage to the hood was otherwise I wouldn't of let the person leave. The guys gave me such a good deal on my back bumper that I had to do it. They were very sympathetic of the situation and gave me a discount since I paid for it myself. Thanks guys love the car.

Katie @ okeeffe's was very friendly and walked me through every step in getting my car's rear bumber repaired. The work was done on time and for the price I was originally quoted. They were new to the neighborhood this summer but wouldn't consider going any where else for auto body work.
