I went to 612 la t night with a group of friend and wa truly impre ed with the experience. The re taurant it elf i very plea ing on the eye , it ha a level of cla that I wa n't expecting when I tepped in that immediately let me know that I wa in for a treat. The a...moretmo phere felt very inviting and cozy even while the decor reflected a finer dining experience. I tarted off with a gla of their award-winning angria, which wa incredible. It wa erved in a little ma on jar which reflected the Prohibition era theme that wa ubtle, yet apparent throughout the evening. For my appetizer, I had the pork nacho and they were without exaggerating, the be t nacho I've ever had, mo tly due to the moked pork. I can't ay enough about tho e nacho , my whole table devoured them. Next I had the Bug y Malone, an original drink created by the owner with cucumber lemonade and gin I believe. That wa unlike anything I'd ever tried before! The ta te of the cucumber wa trong with very light citru y undertone that made for a really pecial drink. For my meal, I ordered the lider trio (beef, pork, veggie) while my friend ordered the taco trio (beef, pork, veggie). We both plit our meal o that we could hare everything. That' one really great thing about the menu: everything i de igned to be very ea ily hared o you get to try a little of everything. There are al o a decent election of vegetarian option a well! The food wa excellent, e pecially the veggie taco and pork lider. What really made them pecial wa the auce , which are all made in-hou e. The beef lider i topped with a bacon-tomato auce while the veggie burger had thi really great avocado aioli. You can al o order any of their auce eparate if you want to dip your frie or omething. My la t drink wa the ignature 612 made with grapefruit juice and jalapeño . I will warn you, the grapefruit juice i pretty trong at fir t, but if you mix it up, the jalapeño give it that picy kick I wa looking for, what' e pecially cool i that the more you tir it, the picier it get , o you actually get to tailor the drink to your ta te bud ! I don't know that I could drink more than one in an evening, but it' a nice alternative to a Bloody Mary in that it ha that pice and ta te almo t like a meal in a gla . I wa really glad I aved room for de ert becau e the bread pudding wa really good. What really et it over the top i the coop of fre h in-hou e made vanilla ice cream, it' optional, though hone tly if you get it without, you're doing it wrong. I ended up pending about $50, which I thought wa completely rea onable for a 3-cour e meal with three fine cocktail and an unpretentiou cla y dining experience. At everal point the owner/manager came up to my table and chatted with u about our food and the re taurant. Another really pecial feature of the menu that I thought wa awe ome wa that they had cu tom-made mocktail made without alcohol. I love thi becau e it allowed for our de ignated driver to enjoy the full experience with u . At one point, the mixologi t came up to our table and after a king my friend what kind of flavor he enjoy came back with a cu tom-made nonalcoholic beverage. That level of care and attention i rare to find nowaday and will certainly have me coming back! Five tar ! Keep up the excellent work!view less
