This place is no longer Cavalier Body Shop. They are called Collision Express now and after talking to them, has been since January 2014. My 2003 Land Rover Discovery 2 had some issues with the Cargo Trunk. The hinge had been bent and the trunk cargo trunk would not shut all the way because it didn't seal it all the way. I do most of the mechanic work for my Discovery and generally do not trust ANYONE o do any work on it, but this time, I just didn't have the time to mess with this alignment issue. I decided to go to a few auto body places early in the morning in Maplewood because it was close to my work and Maplewood apparently is a breeding ground for Indy Auto Shops. I researched that evening and found about 5 or 6. Collision Express wasn't on the list because they are fairly new and as you can see, they are still called Cavalier Body Shop. They were my first stop because I just happen to see them first. It was 2 guys working. They came out and looked at my issue. Polite guys, listened and one of the guys just popped the trunk open, even though I thought it was stuck and even took a crow bar to it. They explained to me the issue and what was causing it to not close all the way. They gave me a quote, I told them I would call them back because I didn't think it was needing to cost that much because I do everything myself and on that car and it just wasn't what I would charge myself. I proceeded to go to the other body shops in that area and soon realized, that the price and attitude was completely different from the other shops. It was quite a difference, one shop had to stop during the quote to let me know that they were at this amount, and they were not done yet. What?! so was this guy taunting me with his rip off price? I dont get it. I don't like to use names, but EGB body shop, you need at least a crash course on sales. Don't tell me I am $*($ while you are still trying to *(&(*R& me over. I decided to give Collision Express the business and they got me in at Lunch time. They were friendly and let me sit in the shop and let me watch them do the repairs. They were thorough and careful with my car. Got it done quickly and the owner came back with lunch for them I guess and was one of the friendliest Auto Mechanic guys I have ever talked too. Usually they hate every one probably because of the oil, heat and frustration. I would recommend this place to anyone. They not only deal with Auto Body, but also mechanical and looks like they do paint jobs. Very Clean Shop. 5 star is well deserved.

Martin Glass is wonderful! My family has always used them in the past and when i broke my windshield, they were the first to come to mind. Everything was perfect! The representative was extremely friendly and efficient. I decided to turn a claim in through my insurance since i only had a $50 deductible. They set up the claim between the claims department and me in less than 5 minutes!! I didn't even have to call my agent, the claims department just needed my policy number. Wow was that easy! They came out THAT AFTERNOON and did a superb job. The installer was very friendly and explained the whole process to me before he even started. My windshield from the dealership had a jeep logo and they installed the same exact windshield. Don't worry about calling any one else but Martin. No wonder they have been around since the 1930's. I remember going with my Dad to Auto Beauty when I was little. He always said they did the best job in town. I continued to take my car there for many years and they have always done great work. Recently I was hit in a parking lot and agreed to let the at-fault party pay for my repairs. They said a family member owned body shop and asked if I could take it there. I foolishly agreed. My car took 3 times longer than they said. . And WORSE, it looked awful, The color did not match. They said they would redo it, and they did. It looked worse than the first time. Then I took it to Auto Beauty. They fixed it .. Now it looks wonderful again. And they even gave me a discount because they felt "bad" for my situation. Imagine that. .it wasn't THERE fault that I picked the wrong shop. They are WONDERFUL!! I will always use you!!
