I have lived in St. Louis metro area for 30 years and have lived in 4 different associations. Two of which were managed by Smith Management Group. To be able to compare services amongst 3 different management companies as well as experience of serving on a board for 3 years, I can contest that the Smith Management Group is by far superior in all aspects of management services in the St. Louis area. They are always available, have many services for residents, and the customer service is by far superior in my opinion. I recommend Smith Management Group based on my experience and involvement with community living. As mentioned I have now dealt with 3 management companies. This is my fourth and final move in St. Louis and while shopping for an association, I asked who was managing the association as this was a partial decision maker where my wife and I would reside. I can contest that my wife and I were pleased to hear that the association we wanted to be part of was managed by Smith Management. We recently had to request some help from their staff as we recently just moved in and man, it’s great to have a company that simplifies solutions. Oh and so friendly. I feel like they care about their job, its almost as though they are a family… Anyhow, I thought it would be fare to share our experience. Thanks staff at Smith Management Group.

Our condo assn switched to Smith Management about 6 months ago, and the improvements are such a relief. The billing errors on our account were finally corrected, the lawnmowers finally started doing their job correctly, and the grounds look so much better. Many of our neighbors were really starting to let their places go, leaving personal items and trash in the halls and on their patios, but this is also being cleaned up, there is a big improvement. The property manager is very easy to talk to and seems to really know what she is doing. I am very happy our board made this change. We would like to see more features on the website, like a message board for residents, but at least I can get our bylaws now for free, and we can also pay our dues online which is really nice.
We moved into the Smile Lofts in Soulard last month from Springfield, IL. I have to say, Red Brick has been very good to us. They worked with us on every detail of our move right down to the best time to move in and right place to park. We've had to call maintenance twice regarding a broken dishwasher soap dispenser and a toilet seal. Both issues were handled professionally and promptly. I also asked that a deadbolt be installed to the apartment upon signing the lease. This is something they did not have to do but graciously did without argument to make my family feel safe. I would say this company has gone above and beyond to make our family feel welcome and comfortable and will recommend this company to any that inquire. Signed, a happy resident.
