Sharpshooter Pit and Grill

This is the best BBQ joint in South County. The food is always fresh and great. the portions are large and the value is spot on.
We eat there at least three times a month. We ribs, wings and brisket is over the top.
New on the menu is street tacos made with the brisket. Excellent!

Best place in the area. Very nice shooting lanes, well lit, professional. Awesome bar-b-que for when you get hungry after a day of shooting.

Had lots of fun,will go back.Most of the staff are friendly.They have some cool guns to rent also if you want feel like Dirty Harry

I had the most ridiculously good ribs here. The rib plate, which I've had 4 or 5 times, is always perfect. I've even taken them all the way home and they're still great!

"No open carry in the Sharpshooter complex". I thought was strange FOR A SHOOTING RANGE, but their place, their rules. They asked me to untuck my shirt.



They don't want any steel core ammo because it can damage the bullet trap. They check all ammo, but the guy doesn't know the difference between steel casings and steel core bullets.



He put a magnet on the steel casing and states that it's "steel ammo" and isn't allowed. I point out that the magnet is sticking to the steel casing, you know, the part that drops to the floor when you fire. I also pointed out the the bullet is described on the box as Hornady A-Max a bullet that most definately does NOT have a steel core.



So, either the guy has little little to no knowledge of ammunition and how firearms operate, or they didn't want me shooting there because I walked in with a pistol on my belt?

For the past two weeks everytime I call the phone is busy. Just trying to find out their pricing.

Went here on ladies night! I am inexperienced with guns but wanted to try some out before I buy one. The staff was friendly and helpful and went out of their way to help me. The place was very clean and new and had a lot of rental guns to try out. I will definitely visit again and next time I'll take some friends!

As a 1st time shooter, I can say I was impressed!! The staff was very knowledgeable and eager to answer all my questions. After reading all of the range rules, one of their range officers showed me how to use their lanes. I liked the fact that I could type in a number and that's where my target went! I had a problem with my gun and the range officer helped me get my gun working again! I had such a good time! I can't wait to go back.

Not impressed with staff, the large lanes meant brass from the lanes next to you keep flying over into your lane. Also zero lane rules or regulations were given to first time shooters. It's a clean range but over all will probably not return.

I thought the food was Tasty and the shooting lanes are the widest in the St.Louis area.

All the staff was great, good luck we will be back!
