New Beginnings CSTAR is a chemical dependency treatment program that features transportation and consulting services. The nonprofit program includes group, trauma, spiritual and individual counseling solutions, as well as recreational therapy and child care services. It features day and short-term residential treatment services for youths between the ages of 12 and 17. New Beginnings CSTAR also offers classes in life skills. The program includes housing and educational solutions, as well as serves women and children. In addition, it administers the St. Louis City Drug Court Program, which serves at-risk young adults. New Beginnings CSTAR offers opportunities to participate in GED classes and luncheons.
