I've gone to Lauren a few times now. She is amazing. Very nice and personable. She has done a good job everytime, and she has also given input to help make my hair look even better. The price might be a little high, but she does quality work so it's well worth it!!

I went to Jon Tomas the other day…
I went to Jon Tomas the other day despite the reviews online. I was arranged to see Beth, she is great and so is Jon Tomas. I have gone to several places before to get my hair cut and colored, and its always been disasterious. I seen Beth at Jon Tomas she did exactly what I wanted the color was amazing and the price was wonderful.I will always be a client of Beth at Jon Tomas because she gave me the results I wanted. I love this place . Go see them. They offer alot of services. Unbelievable. Ask For BETH... :)

I took advantage of the 50% off on color. I asked up front when I made the appt, how much the highlight would be and they quoted a range of prices and the high end wasn't over $80. Well when I went to check out the bill was $131 before the half off. Are you kidding me - what a rip off!!

I came in with damaged and broken hair. My stylist was Liz. She was very frank about my hair type. She gave me an honest idea about what needed to be done. I am accustom to getting a cerrain kind of cut, and she had different ideas about my style, taking into consideration how I typically style it. I am very happy with my cut. I have gone to so many salons trying to find someone that will tell me what I what I should do with my hair type. I appriciate the wisdom. I will go back.

My friend get's her hair done at Jon Tomas and I decided to give it a try. The color and cut was great., however I wish the stylist gave me more direction on how to style my hair at home. Overall it was a great cut and color at a reasonable price. I will be back.

I have had my hair colored three times here and each time it is a different price and color this time Dani was rude as she always is however she had such an attitude this time that my hair turned out orange all over and streaks of dartk brown, and white never go to her, or this place ever again.

This shop is v ery dusty & dirty. the front desk is so crowded with junk you can't see the people behind the counter. NO list of prices or services.\r I had the same hairdresser each time, she was very nice but my haircuts were uneven. \r \r And I hate that you can't put the tip on with your sale using your credit or debit card. \r \r I will not go back.

I have been a client of the Jon Tomas Salon for roughly 7 months. I have just decided not to return. My hair cuts have ranged from terrific to terrible (all from the same stylist). Very inconsistent. In general, the hair stylists seem to be talented, but the atmosphere is anything but relaxing. It feels old, run down and noisy. The people on this site who said the salon is beautiful, have obviously never been in a beautiful, updated salon. I used the ""spa"" services for the first time recently. I can't believe they have the nerve to call this a spa. It was practically a closet and cleanliness is an afterthought long since abandoned. For a few dollars more, I could have been enjoying the same services in a clean, zen like atmosphere at any number of day spas in the area. The front desk staff is consistently rude and distracted. Last time, they even forgot to put my appointment, which I book ahead each time, in the computer! Overall, I have had it. The services there are not cheap and for this kind of price, you should expect a lot more. Also, you are unable to tip with your credit card or debit. Cash only. This is very inconvenient if you don't carry a lot of cash.

Best Salon in all St. Louis and Beyond
I was extremely fortunate to have services done by this amazing salon for my daughter's College Graduation. They are truly a wonderful group of profesionals. Janice was able to do my eyebrows and Tina Marie did my hair. And, I was so Blessed for I am a Leukemia patient as they did all of these services complimentary. What Salon do you know that would go to such an extreme to do all of these services with my circumstances? Words can never describe how I feel about this wonderful, giving group of people.

I was impressed with the relaxed atmosphere and expertise of the stylists. I now have a new, updated look and know it will be easy for me to care for at home. Have received compliments galore and recommended the salon to many friends--all of whom are equally satisfied. The salon also offers a wide range of skin care services which I intend to try.

The complimentary wine was just what I needed to top off a great experience. The whole staff was fun, and I got a great cut. I'd recommend this salon to anyone. I felt like I knew everyone when I left the salon.

I have went to this salon for about 2 months now and I have to say that it is the nicest salon I have ever stepped foot in. Everyone there was very friendly and my stylist, Christina, was awesome. She has been the only stylist who has ever cut my hair in accordance with my hairline. So, in my opinion, the $32 for a haircut was worth it. However, I recently had my hair highlighted there for the first time, and while it was an excellent highlight, I shuttered when I had to pay a total of $84 for a cut and highlight. As a guy, the most I ever payed for both combined was about $35. Granted the cut and color was not as great as here, but paying $100, which included the tip, for cut and highlight, made me cringe. But overall, I would definitely recommend this place!

I found my experience to be horrific, I was pressured to buy buy buy products, made unconfortable trying to prebook other services to me and add on charges, I found the atmosphere to be very unfriendly and not inviting, with people there not being very happy to be there. I just found my whole experience horrific even my ending hair results.

The staff of JON TOMAS was so wonderful and understood the issues concerning my hair and its color. Raymond Wanous, the new owner of the legendary salon, walked me through every step of the process ! It has been the best experience I've ever had in a salon in Saint Louis.
