I spent a day and a half arguing with the sales guy who insisted on telling me my credit was sooo bad nobody else would give me anything, so take what he was offering. Our dealings started off with him being very polite and considerate, asking what type of car I'd like to drive, giving me the whole I'm a nice salesguy in a world of rotten ones. He then went on telling me how he would put me in the best car because he had a daughter and would want her treated the same way when she went to a car lot. Our negotiations stalled when I refused to take a car 80k miles on it that costed over $13K! He then tried to give me ( a small 26 yr old) a huge town car, followed by some old 99 grand prix that a gangster would drive or something. I told him how disappointed I was and he basically told me just be happy that we're only asking you for $500 downpayment. I proceeded to hang up and went and purchased a 09 Focus from AutoPlaza with NO MONEY DOWN AND 3 MILES!
