The St. Louis Arch is a wonderful activity ... especially with the kids. It's air conditioned and the view from the top of the arch is spectacular. If you've never been to the arch before, it's well worth your time. And, before you arrive, try to imagine what the elevator looks like. It's not what you think.

This is simply THE St Louis experience - do not miss it.

definately the best to take a person from out of town to see the city!

The Arch is a good educational and historical place to visit. Make sure you bring extra cash with you if you want to visit the movie, the museum and/or ride up to the top!

The Arch is a great place for visitors or locals to re-visit. I have been several times. The view is great. Not meant for the closterphobic person. The ride to the top is a little scary, but well worth the wait. Here in St. Louis we have these commercials with Becky and Wanda flying around on a magic carpet by the Arch. Someday I hope the carpet runs out of magic.

my reviews of the arch is that it is a great place to visit ,a great place to take the family and learn about our history of the west and the history of the building of the arch. but there needs to be a cprrections in the ETA of the tram ride to the top of the ride. it only takes about 7 mins. to ride to the top and about 5 mins. to ride back down. but it may take awhile to acctualy get on the tram, but it is worth the wait.

I am a native St. Louisan and have loved this city since day 1 !! I finally was able to go up into the arch at the age of 26 ( I am afraid of heights) and Absolutely loved the view!) Now I am soon to move to another city -due to a job change for my fiance- and I know that the image of the ARCH is one that I will always have with me when I think of my hometown! Check out the museum at the base of the arch too- it is fantastic, full of the stories of Lewis and Clark!

Visiting the Arch is something everybody should do at least once. The trip to the top is kind of overrated, but again, should be done at least once just to say you did it. I have visited several times and am a novice but avid photograhper and find taking pictures of the Arch from different angles and distances fun. The hour-long river cruise you can take from the base of the arch is worth it for some great photos of the Arch and city of St. Louis.

This was the first stop when I moved to St. Louis. If nothing else, you have to go to the top for the view, but there is so much more down below. Watch the video on how it was built, check out the museum. Great for families. Even if you're afraid of heights, don't pass up the opportunity, you can stay toward the middle when you reach the top, but it's an experience you have to try.

great way to spend an afternoon. excellent view from the top of the arch... there's also a great lewis and clark museum in the building as well as several theaters running historical films. Price is reasonable!

This place is, of course, the symbol of St. Louis. And rightly so. No other place in the world can claim a structure quite like this. The architectural accomplishment this steel-skinned structure represents is stunning. Definitely catch the ""making of"" documentary in the museum below, then make your way to the top. What a thrill!
