I was a frequent customer at your South County Body Central Store and until today. This was the last straw .I lately I have always been satisfied with the customer service I was provided, until lately that is. There is an associate by the name of Ashley that's giving the store a VERY bad impression. I understand that there's 3 Ashley at this store and the one in question is young and thin with glasses. This particular individual shows blatant signs of racism and this is very upsetting to me. I have never ever been treated so disrespectfully in my life by any one person. Ashley is VERY rude and she followed me around the store continuously and while I was closed to the entrance I was speaking to a friend telling how I didn't think I want this particular shirt, Ashley came over to me and literally snatched it out of my hand saying oh, you don't want that? I'll take it. I was so shocked! On another occasion when I was shopping at the store and I asked about the accessories aisle being so close together she reply's that just they way it has to be and we still have more stuff in the back to put out so there going to be fuller than that, with attitude. I asked her to hand me a scarf behind the counter and she tosses it up on the counter and proceeds to continue her conversation with the other associates. Totally abrupt and very unapproachable and if I didn't want that dress and scarf so badly I would have immediately left, but you no :o) On a third occasion I was shopping in the store waiting to be checked out I observed Ashley providing excellent customer service to the shopper before me (of different nationality) but when it was my turn, she continued to laugh with other associates and treat me as if wasn't a person. No greeting, nothing, and at the end of the transaction she told me what I OWED her. No greeting just you OWE me $62.75. At this time I am sorry to say that I will no longer be a customer of Body Central. I have observed Ashley being blatantly rude with people of my race to many times to take any more!.So because of this one person lack of understanding or education I am sorry to say that I will no longer be a customer. Perhaps someone can look into this matter before many more customers are lost and things get MUCH worse.
