This place is appreciated by a special type of crowd: friendly, relaxed and fun. Be prepared to meet and make new friends once the evening band begins....because noone hesitates to say 'hey, mind if i sit here?" when there is an empty seat at your table. Non pretentious.

The People who like it-won't/don't accept negative reviews

Very Scary. A person writes a negative review on here, and someone has to remark about it like it shouldn't have happened. It happened to us too. Our party tried to park on the back lot for dinner, but they had a chain across it-and wouldn't permit us to park there-even though we had called and said we were coming. They told us the girl that we spoke to on the phone ( who agreed to try to help us get a table when we ... view more

Best bartender in the city

Ive been a fan of BOB forever. But, if Dan is not behind the bar, find another bar! The food is wonderful. I hate reading the one bad review posted.I have never seen them charge a parking fee (sure you at the right park lot? )- I have felt, from my observations, that during dinner time, they could benefit with a hospitality person...going to the tables, making sure everyone happy... sharon

This was our first visit to this restaurant. We called ahead to see what the parking situation was and they told us the restaurant has a private parking area for patrons and street parking if that was full. When we got there, there was a $10 charge to park in their lot (and no available street parking due to a ball game). I personally was very excited to get a Muffuletta which is listed on their website on their m... view more

great Cajun theme

The crawfish bisque was probably the most authentic I've had and though I prefer catfish with a cornmeal (not flour) it was still very good. overall, I think it was very good food. the real test of a cajun restuarant is the gumbo and etoufee, but I will be back to try that. repeat customer! \r \r outside seating wasnt that comfortable, but thats part of the charm of eating bayou food. sometimes the smell of the cit... view more

BOB is great

Was driving downtown and ran across this great bar..i sat at the outside bar located on their patio, they also have a nice inside bar. The bartender sheila was great as was the ice cold beer and the grilled chicken grinder (i will try the cajun/creole next time i visit), the live music at 5.45pm on a thursday was also a plus. I will be going back most likely sometime next week after work. Watch out for the cards ga... view more

The place is a gem. We were from Chicago looking for some good crawfish, what we found was great food, friendly staff and customers, good music, and it is a easy going comfortable place to spent an evening. My family had a great time. This place is a treasure!!
