I am a recent Emerald Club member and couldn't be happier with my experience so far! I was impacted by the storms that hit 12/16-12/17 and impacted the airline industry. My flight, from St. Louis to Denver, which was delayed 11 hours was cancelled at 1:30 am on 12/18. The next flight available to me was 12/21. Needing to be back sooner I decided to rent a car and drive to Denver. I showed up at 2:00 am, and even though the systems were down, they were very understanding of my situation and took care of me as soon as the systems came back on line. I grabbed a Jeep Compass, which was a perfect vehicle for the conditions, and couldn't have been more satisfied. When I finally arrived in Denver (13 hours later) I couldn't have been met with any more "Enthusiasm" and "Appreciation" for my business!! I definitely made the right choice with the right rental company! Thank You!!
I am a platinum level enterprise plus member, and use this location for all my rentals that originate here in STL. The location is very convenient as it is located at the intersection of Ladue Road and I-170. Most of the time they are prepared for my arrival and usually have a car ready for me. However, there are times when they seem to be short on cars and they scramble to find a vehicle for me that meets the class I have rented. This results in time wasted as I wait for a car! There have also been some safety issues with tires on the vehicles being overly worn or damaged. So the lesson I have learned here is to examine the vehicle (tires included) to make sure it is road ready. They do their best to make sure I am satisfied, and I think they continue to strive to get it right.
I chose this Enterprise for a weekend rental for the great price. Next time I'll pay more someplace else. When I went to get my car I got the MAJOR hard sell for the extra insurance. After I declined he kept pushing. He asked me what my deductible was and told me they would take my deductible and $300 per day for everyday the car was in the shop being repaired after I wrecked their car. He reminded me of the bad crime rates in St. Louis and that I was taking a risk not taking the insurance in this city. As a long time city resident I found this insulting. He was rude and pushy and smug. If that little snot was my son I would have slapped him upside the head for being so rude. I'll pay more to be treated better.
