I love the idea of taking a bowling alley and placing the emphasis on the bar rather than the bowling. Don’t get me wrong, the lanes are in excellent condition and most any STL native is probably a competitive bowler. It’s just nice to be in a place that’s a little more snazzy than your local lanes. Plus, it’s a great start to the night. Some food, some bowling, some drinks and when you leave you’re already on Wash Ave. Sweet deal.
Very nice place great pool tables and good prices...also a plus for me was actuallty keeping my own score which gives it more of an old school feel!! Local place that is a good time at a good price and also a great place for group parties with bowling, pool and darts not to mention a good price!!
They have lots of big pool tables that aren't crooked and cheap beer. $2.50 for a Pabst bottle isn't that much. I know you have to manually score your bowling game but when I play I just don't keep score. I count how many strikes I get. The bartenders are great too, especially Paul.
