$275, to have them come out to do an estimate, They were there 45 minutes. One of the things that stuck out the most, was the guy said its not much of a house lol. Yeah well we don't all want giant mortgages pal. They quoted me $5000 to do the whole house. Sorry but I had another quote for 1/4 of the price, thanks for the rip off price tag. I wont be using your services or be recommending you to others. When I called today, I got a rude lady on the phone who told me they didn't have my invoice from a week ago up yet due to 4th of july yesterday lol. Weird, this has any bearing on work or I'm sorry a quote done a week ago. What kinda company charges from the minute they leave and come back to their business. how do I know they didn't stop for lunch along the way or to fill up their van. I don't, later :(

The owners of this business are extremely arrogant and the techs are incompetent. Had a tech come out for a thermostat issue 4 TIMES because it wasn't done right the first, second or third time. I looked at the other reviews and they're all the same...POOR SERVICE..and the business owner's response was almost abusive.

The heat went out at my rental during the middle of the night this past January. Remers had a mechanic there first thing to fix the furnace. It was unrepairable, They brought temporary heat to the house and installed a new furnace the next day. I am happy and so are my tenants.

My heat went out on a Sunday while my husband was deer hunting. He told me to call Remer's since they were the ones to install the boiler and our water heater. We thought we could trust them. They quoted me an outrageous amount...for some reason they think that a Sunday is the same as a holiday! $220 for an hour! But I was stuck and agreed. He was here less than 15 minutes and did get the heat back on but told me that because we had my brother in law replace the coupler a few times that he stripped the threads and the whole thing needed to be replaced. He said the part would be around $200 and he would come back on Monday to replace it. He didn't have it in his truck to do it then. No mention that there would be another service charge. After all he was only here 15 minutes and it wasn't my fault he didn't have the part with him. It was all part of the same problem. When I got my bill, I was charged another $100 for labor plus $13 for mileage! Another charge I wasn't told about and totally ridiculous since I live in the city and not far from the company! That's the cost of doing business and should be part of their service call charges, not something tacked on top of that! It's not like their customers can bring in their boilers for repair! I called to complain but they didn't care and just said it was what they charge. Well, they just lost us as customers! A $504.67 bill for what they did was outrageous! I'll never call them again!

They came out promptly and did a repair job that got my heat back on during VERY cold weather. BUT they did not give me an itemized bill and when I called several days layer, they could still not tell me what my total was. Office staff was grumpy and that may lead me to NOT buy from them when the whole system needs to be replaced.

We have requested Remer's service many times in the morning's, midday's and late evenings. They have always responded within two hours after our request. Their work is excellent. Specially, I should mention the service attitude of Remer's parts department. A layman like myself Remer's salesperson always patiently explained and instructed me on how to install the parts. We are very lucky to have service like Remer in Saginaw. I recommend Remer to anyone without reservation.

I got a call from my tenant in January that the heat had gone out. Remers had someone out first thing in the morning to check the furnace, It turned out that it had to be replaced. They brought heaters out for the tenants to use and had a new furnace installed the next day.

They replaced my entire heating and cooling system as well as the water heater in 2 and a half days. Technician was pleasant, efficient and considerate of my pets. Everything was cleaned up and all debris removed. Price was within estimates, and work was done when promised. I recommend them for ANY plumbing and heating work.

Beware of their business pract...

Beware of their business practices. Get everthing in writing BEFORE they do anything. Very misleading and office staff is rude. I had a faulty installation done by them and when it came time to repair (after telling me it should be covered under the manufactured warranty) they repaired it at MY expense which came to the price of a total new toilet. Not diligent and the customer service stinks. Bill was very costsly and I have to make payments. NOW THEY ARE CHARGING ME INTEREST!! I will NEVER go to this company ever again.
