There is no Chinese restaurant that can match Forbidden City's menu. The soup is divine, with the clearest and most flavorful broth and the most perfectly cooked ingredients. The staff is absolutely friendly and very professional. They have a "diamond" from AAA, but I believe they should have a two or three diamond rating. Everything is fresh and it shows. There is no better, or even equal, Chinese restaurant in the whole Tri-Cities area. When we eat at another chinese restaurant, we always compare it to Forbidden City.
THERE IS A NEED TO KEEP THE LOBBY CLEANER, ESPECIALLY WHERE BUFFET PATRONS ARE EATING. SHOULD BE A BETTER SELECTION OF CHICKEN DURING BUFFET HOURS. TO HAVE TO CONSTANTLY ASK FOR CHICKEN LEGS AT A BUFFET IS NOT RIGHT. STOCKING THE BUFFET IS JUST AS IMPORTANT AS SELLING FOOD FOR A BUFFET. ALSO, I THINK IT'S A SHAME THAT THIS COMPANY THROWS AWAY PREPARED, UNSOLD FOOD, INSTEAD OF FINDING HEALTHY, SUITABLE MEANS TO DONATE TO SOME CHARITABLE CAUSE OR FAMILY IN NEED.
had good homemade REAL mexican food, and the owners were the nicest friendliest people ever, my son took me-his mom- out of my bday dinner and he only had debit.. they dont take debit so he had to go find an atm while i stayed there--the owners told me .. oh go ahead and leave you can bring us back the money later.. that was the nicest thing anyone has done for me in a long time .. i waited of course. but wow when does that happen these days ?? loved it !!!!
