To the previous reviewer, until you have walked in the shoes of the manager for many years, I'm afraid you don't know what you are talking about. People who don't like to follow rules that are in place for everyone, are usually the complainers. You don't even live in the park, so how could you possibly know what's happening? I managed that park for 26+ years and I take exception to the bias that you show and the nasty remarks. When I arrived in the park in May of 1983, it was a bad place to live and over the years we brought it up to much higer standards and it was a great place to live. There will always be complaints by someone, but they do not speak for the majority. I retired from the park 2 1/2 years ago and moved out of town and I can tell you the park has gone downhill rapidly and in that time since I left there have been 3 different managers and they could not handle anything correctly. The tenants were up in arms with the new management and more than one asked me to return. So get real, I have no clue who your girlfriend was but probably not one of my better residents while I was there. Have a nice life......because I sure am.
I have lived in this park for two years and it is very clean and the grounds are well maintained. The management bends over backwards to assist homeowners (seniors) maintain their property. This park has a true community atmosphere. There is a resident's social club that organizes activities such as free dinners each month, bingo, crafts, billiards, bunko. exercise programs, Red Hat Ladies, care call program, as well as a "Neighborhood Watch" program to name a few. All of these activities are led by residents and supported by management and the owner. Since I've lived here, thefts have not been a problem. Of the parks that I've seen around town, this is the cleanest and prettiest and I'm proud to live here. Come and see for yourself.
Casa de Flores is a 55 and up community of well kept manufactured homes. The owners of these homes show pride in the condition of their homes and yards and likewise the management keeps the community places like the clubhouse and pool/spa areas looking wonderful. There are a multitude of activities for the residents to participate in and the atmosphere is always pleasant and friendly...attending functions or just going about a leasurely stroll around the park. Shopping centers and other services such as medical facilities are conviently located within a short drive. One visit...just a drive thru Casa de Flores will prove to you that it can rightfully call itself: "The finest senior community in Sacramento."
