i took the New GRE Course and just recently took my test. Did very well, but am still waiting for my official scores. They should be out in a month or so. They definitely have a course that works. I'm also thinking of taking the GMAT course as some B-Schools will only accept the GMAT still. I'm thinking the same thing: great prep from this course. When you take one of their classes make sure you actually can commit to it and do all the outside work (like 7+ hours per week). You need to stay focused and work your tail off. Everyone gets excited and wants to tell everyone else when they did well. That's great and all, but I'm telling you about the course/company because I believe that its works if you put your hours in.
My son attended the SAT class program. He is one of those kids that doesn't do well on tests, school tests or standardized. He and we reluctantly put him in the class as we didn't know if he would be motivated. He actually did really, really well and we're very proud of him and the program. The course helped in focus and provided a structure to study and that really saved the day for my son. Great course for parents who need help with unmotivated and undisciplined kids. I love my son, but he needed the help, and did great!
Sometimes I'm wrong. Not in this case. I completed their GRE course early this year and after much heartache did much better than my original official exam. I took the GRE cold without studying, and that was a big mistake. I was wrong to do that, luckily the GRE policy states you can essentially hide that score so the schools don't know. I then decided I needed a course! Took this one, did much better, especially on the verbal side, I am not a fan of long passage based reading. I found this class was very helpful.
This company provides one hellavu class. Amazing, that's right. My parents forced me to go. I wasn't happy about it and there was a lot of yelling (at me!) but I went and I did great. I liked how we kept active in class, working on problems and going through strategy and reviews. At least we did something every class day. I was expecting a torture session and this definitely wasn't it. I received early acceptance to my first choice college. Amazing. Seriously.
That's what I'm talking about! Real prep! Completed my class two months ago, took my test yesterday at the Prometric Center and scored above 160 on both sides of the GRE! Grad school here I come! Cost me a lot, but helped more than I thought it could because it focused my studying and gave me direction. Funny and smart instructor way helped too.
Exactly. I'm weak at verbal/writing and great at math. I can ace the math, no sweat, but can't write worth a lick and had trouble with the Reading section. The class focuses on this stuff in the second half of the course. It gave me strategy and setups so I could structure my writing and read the passages effectively.
I'v tried to keep this group at the top of my list when I have items to donate. They work with young people who are "graduating" from the foster care system to help them get their feet on the ground since they don't usually have family to do that. Helping them to find jobs and get set up in living situations.
I took their Spray Tan and Teeth Whitening course in November 2013. Let me just say that this class changed my life! I just quit my full time job. I now have a successful business. The best part is that now get to be home when my kids get out of school.. I am so glad that I decided to take this course!
When I decided to spend the $500 for a prep course instead of reading the books/online stuff my main concern was an instructor and the instructor quality. I've had bad classes before where the instructor sucks. Not so here. I had a great instructor and he helped guide me and it really helped my score.
Score was better than the first official test I took before I started this class. Felt I was drowning without any help; didn't like the books at Barnes and Noble. Was a relief to get some help in a class format, it was worth the price.
