Roundtree Rock & Gardening

I paint tons of kindness rocks and have searched many places trying to find the best rocks for awareness. I checked out several large home improvement stores as well as several local rock yards. I have been most impressed with Roundtree selection of various sized rocks. Not just rocks but anything one would need for landscaping including bark. More importantly this site is also home to Midvalley Rock so it is truly full service. Accommodating to any amount needed from small buckets of rocks like we get to delivery options for those larger jobs!
The service is amazing in fact the customers love this place so much they brought in donuts for the staff on my 1st visit. And they were so kind they even shared :) Speaking of sharing, Round tree really goes above and beyond supporting the community. They graciously sponsored the rocks we use for our rock group so that we can continue to spread our message of Long QT Syndrome awareness. Roundtree is a true local business gem, and we hope you consider visiting them for all your landscaping needs!

I have been going to Roundtree for almost 20 years. They have always been helpful and they have a great selection. Every time I order rock or go pick out my own they always give me way more rock for my money than expected. Love this place. I don’t go anywhere else for rocks. If you have a problem with this place it is probably you. Remember this is a yard full of heavy machinery and heavy material. If you have sensitive feelings maybe you should send someone else to be a pain in the a$$.

How many businesses have an employee who uses the s*** word for a customer? This place is something. I wish I could give them zero stars. Stay away from this place.

I went to their place on 9/1 and marked a few rocks for purchase. They said they will weight the rocks and give me a quote. Did not hear from them for an entire week. Okay, so I called them on 9/7 and they said they had not weighed the rocks yet but the approximate price is $50. It was still okay with me.

I visited this place again this morning on 9/8 and was told to talk to the guy that loads rocks. He was very busy and told me to mark the rocks again because they had lost one of the marked rocks. I did exactly that and then went back to the person as a courtesy to tell him that I had marked the rocks and will wait for him at the front office. His answer was 's**** man! You come to me again and again. Don't you see I am still loading rocks'. Yes, he had the audacity to use a colorful word against a customer.

I was definitely fuming and so I went up to the front office to complain. I told them that I am not buying anything from them because their staff members do not know how to talk to a customer. They seemed a bit apologetic but it is what it is. My advice to their owner - hire people who are decent enough to converse with a customer. And if they cannot, teach them a) how to speak English and b) how to behave in a civilized manner.

As far as this company is concerned, instead of my business, they will get the same colorful word from me as a courtesy gesture.

We recently purchase some landscape boulders for our home at Roundtree. We were very impressed with the large selection of moss rock. We received excellent service, on-time delivery of our product as promised, and great pricing.

Roundtree is the kind of business you want to work with. Service of a small company with the inventory of a large one. This is exactly what you are looking for. Top shelf product without paying the high overhead of the “other guys”. I highly recommend them.
