Natomas Veterinary Hospital

I was so relieved to receive the care that my animals got here at Natomas. I recently moved from Los Angeles and was very nervous about getting adequate care for my animals and Dr. Ziedens and staff came through. I have two 19 year olds and they handle them very well. Thank you

I'm not going to give out any information about myself but I was a client in the hospital during this guy's visit. The Doctor was very professional and offered ideas for treatment if the owner wanted to go down that route. The client began yelling and screaming at the doctor and soon followed with slamming doors. This guy was nuts and I almost called the police when he was being so violent and aggressive. From what I overheard, the cat had diarea for a few weeks and was otherwise healthy??? Don't trust this guys posts, I have been going here for years and they have been nothing but wonderful.

As a life long animal lover, vegetarian and animal resuer, I had been utilizing another Pet Hospital for over 20 years. One of my rescued cats, after 12 happy and healthy years, has finally got very sick and can longer take care of itself- grooming could not contain his coat and he developed heavy mats and continued to mess on himself as he's lost all control. His weight plummeted to 7 pounds. With tearful goodbyes from the kids, I took to the business noted above. Prior to going, the call to make the appointment seemed to be a bit odd, with the employee noting the doctor on duty chooses what I understood to be a more ethical way of euthanasia - and more expensive. Fine. The Vet Tech on duty met me in the consultation room and asked me questions on ethics of euthanasia, noting again, that the doctor would prefer that more tests are done prior to moving forward, and did I want to discuss this with the Vet. I said No. 5 minutes later, the Vet comes in and tells me he's not in the habit of killing cats. He's arrogant, condescending and smug. When I tell him I've been rescuing animals for years he tells me he didn't know that. Why should he!!!???? I'm a paying customer looking to put my pet out of it's misery. It's not an easy choice. This Vet was incredibly rude, had zero people skills and freaked out when the half door was hit by my knee when I reached over to get the card of the vet. He said he'd call the police if I do that again. Appalling service. Appalling atmosphere. I have never been so insuted in my life. DON'T USE THIS VET. DON'T USE THIS VET.
