Midas Auto Service Experts

This Midas shop was the last to service my Mazda. I had an oil change and tire rotation done. On Tuesday I went back to have the same services completed because they were do. I was told that it would be a 3 hour wait (despite their being only one customer in the lobby and no cars in their bays). I decided not to wait and have Pep Boys down the street do it. When they went to rotate my tires two of the wheel studs snapped off. It wasn't Pep Boys fault. The studs where damaged from the previous rotation at Midas.



At Pep Boys they have video monitors in the bays so you can watch the work being done on your vehicle, so I know it wasn't their fault. The tech had just started rotating my Mazda's tires when the studs broke off. It wasn't like he was re-installing the tires and then snapped the studs. That would have been their fault then.



So after getting my car put back together I decided to head over to Midas to see if they would reimburse the cost to replace the studs. They were closed… at 5pm, despite their sign clearly stating they close at 6pm.



I went back today and got some b.s. answer about "wear and tear." They didn't deny they caused the "wear and tear", but they did refuse to compensate me for the damage they obviously caused.



I recommend going elsewhere. These guys obviously are anything but professional.
