Very nice store one of the best in Sacramento, they have everything it's a one stop store, I come here sometime and my parents come here also. Everything is fresh and they have a large selection of groceries from everywhere. The lady working in the front is very friendly but sometimes she looks very tired. Her daughter is there too, she doesn't talk as much but whenever I go there she's always working and if u say hi she will smile back a little but she looks pretty tired too. There is the old man over there he's the owner he makes me feel uncomfortable. He usually stands on the other register and just stares it feels really awkward and he carries around his little radio in his pocket. He should be working too his kids work more then he does and he should keep it equal. They used to put on great pumping music and I shopped even more but now it's dead silence. I think this is one of the reasons why a lot of my friends and family don't come here because the owner seems really conceited and rude and acts like he's all that. If he changed his attitude he will have all his customers back.
I went to Anthony's Italian Cuisine in Natomas last week for lunch and was pleasantly surprised! I had the Chicken Marsala, and found it to be very flavorful - the chicken was moist and tender and, the sauce was rich and savory. The potion was very generous! There was another couple having lunch, and the gentleman said he was from out of town, but always comes to Anthony's because it's become his favorite restaurant while in Sacramento (he said that he's never been disappointed and he's been in about 7 or 8 times now). "The food is great and the atmosphere is always friendly and quaint, and I love that about this place." His lunch guest was here for the very first time and said her lasagna was perfect. I was told that the cioppino is "incredible", so it seems I'll have to try that on my next visit, which will be very soon. There aren't many Italian restaurants in Natomas and this is a true GEM!!!
If you are talking about a wide selection of persian, arabic, greek, armenian products you need to stop by at this market, it has it all, this market is unique by every single item on their shelf, fresh, organized and well stocked very hard items to find and with very low price. I bought some fresh lamb and veil and WOW!!! very tender and clean and the price I couldn't beleive, 1 LBS of lamb is $3.99 and the Veil Ground is $3.79 extra lean. They got a wide selection of Feta and Olives and they do catering. I asked the owner what are these colorfull items on the shelf, and guss what they sell HOOKAH and WOW!!! they have very nice collection not that I smoke but the owner took some time explaning the stufff for me even though the place was very crowded. They got the best market in sacramento for 2006 and 2007. Also I noticed some appreciation certificate from the county for helping the youth aid.
Funky little store with loads of imported foods, especially spices - you can smell the curry as you cruise the aisles. I shop here occasionally to get a few items from New Zealand, my husband's home country. Sometimes what I want isn't in stock, hence 4 stars, but call first and ask. The owners are very friendly and willing to make a deal if you buy quantity, as I do. Okay, so I haven't been there in a few years, they moved and are now in a strip mall behind Long John Silver's on Northgate. Still smal, but much nicer building and well-stocked shelves....and I didn't smell spices this time....I still recommend calling first to see if they have what you want, or just go by and see what they have....New Zealand green mussels were in the freezer as was NZ butter, the best on the planet! (pricey, but Grocery Outlet doesn't get it very often, so if you're looking for a treat, Fiji Mart has it!
A great Fijian Indian Store! Whenever I need to restock on my Indian I always groceries I make a trip to Singhs Oceania Supermarket. This business has been here for a long time and is loved by alot of my family and friends. It's like a nice neighborhood store to go to get alot of great products from back home. The people of the store are very warm and welcoming and will go out of their way to help out. They always say that if you don't find something let them know and they will order it. The store is very clean and I love the way their prayer sections is organized and clean. I am not gonna name any names but there are Indian stores you go to and the prayer section is collecting dust. I really enjoy coming here.
I was warned before I went: the kitchen takes forever to bring out your food. although the service was good, the ambience enriching with Italian art and an old-school feel, the rumor was right... we were waiting probably 30 minutes for our appetizers and also for the entree course. With that disclaimer also comes satisfaction with how great the food tasted. despite having a group of 12 or so they brought all of the food out at the same time, which a lot of places screw up on. It wasn't as noisy as most restaraunts with the same large capacity. The menu isnt overwhelming and the dishes arent confusing like some flashy Italian places. Overall a fun, classic place for good Italian food.
We have been eating at this Pizza Restaurant since it opened, there isn't a better Pizza around. They are made with love with the owner in the kitchen making sure everything is just right. Always get a side salad with salami and mozzarella cheese with our pizza. We had our daughter's graduation from CSUS, even with the large party everything was Great!!! Give it a try, you won't be disappointed, but don't expect a cheap drive by pizza hers are a quality pizza, she only makes the best. Thank You for your years of service Maria.
Olive Garden is one of my very favorite restaurants and this location is no exception. I could gorge myself on the Alfredo dipping sauce and bread sticks and frequently do! Their Zuppa Toscana soup is perfection and you can't go wrong ordering the Tour of Italy (Chicken Parmigiana, Lasagna, and Fettuccine Alfredo) and you'll have plenty of leftovers to enjoy the next day. My only complaint is the wait and the slow service. I guess that's to be expected from a restaurant as popular as this one is.
The customer service its great! You are greated with a smile when you walk in the door. I have been a customer since 2003 and the staff is very friendly. Everything in the store is in order. The fruit always looks appealing and you do not find bad vegetables. I enjoy shopping there. I rather go to Savemart than to other stores that may advertise cheaper prices because you get what you pay for. Savemart has reasonable prices and great savings with their sales. Thank you Savemart!
Great food!! Great place!! Clean!! Reasonable price!! Great customer service!! I have been to this place more than 3 times now and it tastes goooooddd everytime. Pizza is really good and there is a lottt of variety. The price is definitely reasonable. And all that gooodd food for $5.99 is worth every penny. People working there are great too. Definitely a good place if you want really good food at a clean place along with great customer service.
