I have been shopping @ Thrift Town for about 5 years, and over the past few years, the store has improved tremendously. The store is always clean, bright, and well organized with a friendly staff. The merchandise is carefully sorted and the prices are good. I shop there for my son's school clothes, and have gotten new and nearly new clothes for him. Everyone thinks I spend a lot on his clothes, but most of his stuff costs less than $2.00. I just recently purchased a pair of nearly new jeans that would normally retail for over $60.00. I paid $1.99 and they were'nt even on sale. They also give senior discounts on Monday's and have frequent sales. The key to thrift store shopping is patience. You can't just go one time and give up. You have to go frequently because the merchandise changes daily. I will continue to shop at Thrift Town because I can always find a deal and the staff is excellent...better that some really expensive department stores!!!
It's big and it's pretty clean. The shelved items are not well maintained. The clothing is organized and easy to peruse. There were some nice things, but the prices for those were higher than I'm used to finding in a thrift store. I think as resale stores have become more accepted/popular, prices have risen. I still managed to find a few things that I thought were reasonably priced.
I was really surprise when I walked into this thrift store. It was so clean and someone actually greeted me when I came in. The prices are really affordable, I bought some clothes for my kids and a new desk for myself. I am a real bargan hunter and I can honestly say, this store is reasonably priced. I highly reccommend anyone to stop by and check it out. I'm glad I did!
