General Info

GainVille provides language instruction for children, youth and adults. Language immersion instruction is offered in Spanish, Italian, Arabic, English and French. Six tier levels of ESL (yes, week-day English classes for adults) are available in small intimate sessions adding to an educational foundation in social and life skills programs. Students need to take a placement test at the onset of the admission process to determine their proficiency level in each of the four areas of ESL, namely: Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking. Your little saplings will be immersed in their choice of French, Italian, Arabic, Spanish or English during these 90-minute classes, taught by native-speaking instructors Mondays through Saturdays. Your kids know their family tree has roots that reach New Jersey from many faraway places. And although you are a little rusty on native dialect, you still want to water your seedlings with some linguistic heritage. Choose between immersion for 2-5 year olds or language cultural workshops for 6-9 and 10-13 year olds. By building on language vocabulary and using cultural tools, our language instructors are able to build language proficiency in an authentic and meaningful way. GainVille also provides Summer Camps in the U.S. and Switzerland, ESL and American Cultural Immersion and Collegiate Support Services through a secondary school center located in the New York City metro area. Students will learn about American culture and the English language through readings and various classroom activities and through summer excursions to New York City. Skills to be addressed: Reading, writing, listening and speaking. Reading a short passage entails answering questions with discussion. Listening activities are based on every day conversations. Speaking is practiced both inside the classroom and outside. The Sights and Sounds NYC program at GainVille Learning Center is an Intensive English as a Second Language Program (ESL) designed for teenagers and young adults who live in other countries, but want to experience American culture first hand. The program consists of 16-hours of classroom instruction as well as two weekly excursions to nearby New York City. The program runs for 2, 4 or 6 weeks beginning in early July through mid-August. Our aim is to enrich lives, expand scholarship, and inspire enlightened global citizens. Gain Ville is approved by the Student Visitor and Exchange Program (S.V.E.P.} to issue I-20s, in order for international students to obtain F-1 Student Visa status for the purpose of enrolling in a full-time Intensive English Program in New Jersey.

Our Adult Language Program provides Arabic, English, French, Italian, and Spanish language instruction. We keep our class sizes small (4-8 students) to enhance classroom interaction and optimize the overall learning experience. Our language instructors are native speakers who provide instruction through varied immersion methods: Group Classes, Private Tutoring and Conversational Hour sessions. Social Skills Workshops, the manner in which we present ourselves to others determines our success. The three key areas which comprise our personal presentation are: How we carry and conduct ourselves. How we speak. How we dress. Educational Placement.
