102 excels not just because it stands out in downtown Ruston, or because it is better than most restaurants in Monroe or Shreveport (it could even be competitive in New Orleans), but because the ambiance, menu, and top-notch service offer something Ruston has never had - something worth leaving the house for. The sushi is surprisingly fresh, and the wine list is the longest for miles around. Try the Filet or the Duck, both are the best you'll eat in North Louisiana. They've got a lo to do here. Pool tables, dart boards, and plenty of tvs to watch sports here. I usually just order appetizers when I'm here and my favorite are the fried pickles.
The food is great and the servers are nice and helpful. They can get busy, but they try their best to make sure all the customers are happy. I usually am!
