Fernlee Kennels

Great Service. Friendly and helpful staff. Safe and clean environment for my dog. He always comes back happy and thriving. I like this place and they don't over charge like many of the other places. Also they offer a free oatmeal bath on the last day of pick up which is a really nice service!

I love this place, the price is afforable and nice for grooming. At first, i am quite skeptic about sending my dog to groom in a kennel, but after read many reviews from the locals and the location (royal oak ) which is not a bad area, i found out that i is a very nice place to go and with my dog- which is hyper ,the groomer, Suzannah Skalsky a very good job in cleaning him . Thanks Suzannah Skalsky for being a good groomer and i will definately come back to groom my dog. :)

My dog loves this place! Their prices are the best in the area, by far the cheapest around. The staff treats my dog just like their own. Every time I drop my dog off I know he will be in good hands. The owner is very friendly and always answers all of my questions. My dog has gotten a bath here a few times, and always comes out smelling amazing! I recommend this place to all of my friends and family.

Very friendly staff, and clean, newer facility. My dogs love staying here and we refer to it as the "Doggie Hotel". The kennel does not have ridiculous requirements like many kennels have, but they do require the things that matter the most. We are regular clients of Fernlee and plan on going back many more times.

The staff was so friendly, and I felt like our dogs were in the best of hands. We wouldn't go anywhere else!

I had such a great experience boarding my dog at Fernlee Kennels!!! I was pleasantly suprised at the tidy, up to date appearance both inside and out, and the professionalism of the staff was spectacular...in fact, I couldn't believe how great they were with my dog :) The women there have some kind of 6th sense when it comes to caring for, reacting to, or interacting with the dogs. My big dog fell in love with the one woman, Alison, the very first day! She knew exactly how to handle him the minute she met him, along with every other dog she meets, I'm sure. Jupiter sulked for three days after I picked him up after my trip, so I've started taking him to Day Care while I'm at the office so he can work out his energies on other playful pups. I can't thank Fernlee enough for giving me a safe, friendly place to take my darling dog.

Fernlee is conveniently located, and is rather inexpensive. In addition, the majority of the staff is very pleasant. However, we have decided to no longer take our dogs there due to the confrontational, quick to anger, and overall rude, owner. Furthermore, the communication given to us about an altarcation with our dogs while on vacation was very poor--we had to call in to check up, only to find out it had happened a full day earlier! The facility is OK for the price, but there are much nicer, better staffed (more supervision) comparibly-priced kennels in the area. The deciding factor in our decision: the rude owner.
