Are your closets taking over your home? Clear out your gently used good clothes, housewares, furniture and toys and more and bring them to sell at The Upscale Yard Sale!
Here's how it works:
When you bring your items in, we will select what our customers will buy. Somethimes there will be items we cannot sell. Please understand that our customers preferences must be our selection guidelines.
You set the prices for your items. If you choose to sell your item for a higher then average price, you item may not sell. You may consign a maximum of 15 items, 5 of which can be clothing items.
We will display your items for 60 days. If you would like to retrieve any unsold items, please do so by the 60th day. If you don't wish to pick up the items, they become the property of The Upscale Yard Sale and will be disposed of. A small fee will be charged to withdraw any consigned item after it is consigned. Items priced under $100 are $.50 and over $100 are $2.00 per item to withdraw.
No thank you items will be held for 7 days. On the 8th day, the unwanted items will be disposed of.
You receive 55% of the selling price. The selling price will be reduced by 20% after 3 weeks and by 40% at the 6 week point.
We cut checks for any amunt due you over $5 every month by the 10th of the month for all sales in the previous calendar month. If you would like us to mail the check, please leave us a self-addressed stamped envelope. Otherwise, the check will be waiting in our files for you to pick up.
Select your in-season clothes. Make sure everything is freshly cleaned and wrinkle free. Hangers will keep clothing neat. All clothing must be on plastic hangers. The better it looks, the easier it is to sell. Clothes only sell in-style. If you bought it new within the last year or two, it's probably good.
Make an appointment for your first time, so we can set aside time just for you. After that, our "drop and run" system will save you time and effort.
In addition to all type of clothing and accessories, we can also sell for you: toys, household items, hardware, baby items, collectibles, furniture and much more.
