If you love your pet, you might want to look elesewhere. I found this place on the web with 5 stars, thinking it must be a good place. I went to their website, and everything looked good. I called and made an appt with an obnoxious person, who thinks he's funny. That should have been my first clue. When I took my dog for her appt, I gave special instructions on how I wanted the cut to be. Those were totally ignored, and she was cut the way the groomer wanted. Now it will take months and months for her hair to grow back out where they werent supposed to shave her. They shaved her face completely bald by her ears. One of her back legs was shaved 2" lower than the other leg. They cut into the end of her tail, which must have hit a nerve, because she crys now if I touch anywhere near that area. It now has a little scab there. When I came to pick her up, I expressed how upset I was that she didnt follow my instructions, and the obnoxious guy said "Well, at least the hair will grow back, hahahaha". I asked the groomer (D.J.) why she didnt follow my instructions, and she said "Well, I just gave her the usual Schnauzer cut ..............." She had no explanation for ignoring my instructions. Btw, the instructions were hand written out, and read back to me. When I asked to see the back, when I first dropped her off, it was nothing like described on the website! Nothing! That should have been my next clue. "D.J.", the groomer, is not listed anywhere on the website. It gives this story about Leslie and her family, but according to D.J., she told me Leslie has multiple sclerosis and doesnt groom anymore. Everything about this place was a farce! My opinion, of course. If you dont believe me, go check it out for yourself. All I know is what happened to my poor puppy. I just hope that she can recover from the trauma. I know that I will check out the next place more thoroughly before making an appt.
