        I go to see Dr. Ruben for my son. My son has a special genetic condition that he has to be seen every 6 months. I have mixed feelings about Dr. Ruben. I think he likely does well with adults but I don't think he transitions well with kids. Luckily my son is a really easy patient. Even with that...he's 7. His patience seems flustered if my son doesn't do the instructions as given. Come on. He's 7....and he still does better than most adults. I'm not convinced on his expertise with my son's condition. I'd love to get a second Dr to see my son but with Kaiser you are limited. I just hope Dr. Ruben uses his expertise for 110% for my son.

        Oh. And I don't like that he wants to charge me another $50 charge for a "follow-up" appt just 2 weeks after his main appt just to check his pressures. I don't think so.
