General Info

Dr. Michael Blackmon is a 1990 graduate of Duke University, where he obtained a BA degree in history while also receiving an athletic scholarship to play football for the Blue Devils. He obtained his Doctorate of Dental Medicine in 1997 from the University of Tennessee School of Dentistry. Dr. Blackmon has been in private practice since 1997. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Georgia Dental Association, and the Steve Taylor Dental Study Club. He participates in the Free Clinic of Rome doing charity dental work for the less fortunate in the community. Dr. Blackmon's emphasis is on restorative and cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Blackmon is married to Robin Blackmon and they have two children, Abby and Reid. He is a member of Pleasant Valley North Baptist Church. He enjoys spending time with his family, turkey hunting, and the occasional fishing trip.
