This place is amazing. I'm a guy, used to go to barbers and thought salons were for women. Turns out I was wrong... my stylist April was absolutely amazing! She is not only cute as a button, but talented as well. My hair has never looked better. I have never received compliments on it either. From first cut to it growing out, it always looks great... no more buzzers for me. she takes her time, the entire salon makes me feel at home.... You gotta go!

I had my hair colored and I absolutely love it! One of the salon's owners, Joe, was willing to take on my project. I had my hair colored at another Princeton salon and they ruined it, I gave that salon 2 times to fix it and they just made it worse. I called one of my girlfiends who loves her hair and stylist and off to him I went. I wish I thought of asking her earlier. Joe to the rescue (and he's cute)! I went from a muddy dye job to awesome hair. I have gotten so many compliments in the last few days and I have him to thank. So- Thank You

Great experience- quality haircut from an experienced stylist, nice conversation with him, and a very warm staff. It's not like many of the stuffy, overrated Princeton salons I have gone to before.

I didn't think I wanted to write a review because all the other reviews were similar to my excellent experience at salon azzurro, but I feel that would be a disservice to them. I have very difficult hair- something I have been told for years by a myriad of stylists, like I already don't know. I finally get a consultation with a stylist that knows what he is talking about, has a plan, and executes it. He actually took his time and listened to me, I can't possibly mention how many times that has never happened for me at other places. Btw...they have an accommodating and friendly staff, which in the princeton area is saying something. My experience was definitely worth writing about. Bravo, salon azzurro.

Finally a salon that got it right! It was so much fun to get my haircut. I went there from a great recommendation I received from a friend of mine that works for a fashion magazine (she has gone everywhere, she would know) . She so loved her experience she called me from right outside of the salon and told me how great everything was and she knew I wanted to cut all of my hair off. Everyone was so friendly and when I sat down to have my consultation the whole staff was so excited for me that they joined in on the conversation with great opinions and they made me feel so comfortable even though I was so nervous and in the end I emerged a new woman with a stunning haircut that i never thought I'd have the nerve to do . I gave them all hugs and thanked my stylist Joe incessantly! Thank you to everyone at Salon Azzurro for listening and for everything

I've never had an experience like this! I recently moved to the Montgomery area (great schools by the way) relocating from downtown Manhattan. I have curly hair and have tried some of the most well regarded salons in NYC from Frederic Fekkais to Ouidad to even Sally Hershberger herself ($950 a haircut, stylist to Meg Ryan) and my new hairstylist April absolutely outperformed every one of them and she even suggested some beautiful face framing highlights that i never had before and God bless her because I'm receiving compliments on this cut and color that I use to pay over a thousand dollars for and never hear. Ask for her you wont regret it ! She's a little Sienna Miller a little Carrie Bradshaw and a whole lot of talent!

This is a friendly, professional salon. Victoria custom-mixed great color for my hair--it looks so natural. She listens to what you want, but also makes good recommendations. I am very pleased with my hair --color and cut--and best eyebrow waxing in the area. A+

Wonderful place to get your hair cut, perfect for men or women, all staff are very friendly and expertly skilled. Prices are not too high or very low.

Joe, one of Salon Azzurro's owners, is the best stylist I have ever had. He is meticulous, very personable and just plain talented. When I come away with a new cut, I always receive complements and questions about 'who does your hair?' They use great products there as well. I highly recommend Joe at Salon Azzurro!

Great people from top to bottom. Enjoyed my experience there, receptionist and assistants were nice. My stylist seemed very knowledgeable and was up on the latest. He did a phenomenal consultation with me, took his time, and gave me exactly what i wanted. He even passed on a few styling tips that has made replicating his work easy to do at home in the morning. Loved my experience!
