“ I give Lone Star Transmissions 5 stars; they were GREAT! From the moment I walked in, it was awesome customer service and Sparky was very efficient, knowledgeable & truthful. I took my Honda Civic to a transmission shop (that does brakes, front end alignments, etc...) on Buckner Blvd in Dallas, TX. for a front end alignment. While I sat inside waiting, I saw 3 guys working on my car; and the very next day I started leaking transmission fluid. Long story short, those guys disconnected (unscrewed & took loose) things from my transmission. I was losing large amounts of transmission fluid. My fiancé referred me to Lone Star Transmissions and Sparky took very good care of me. I would recommend anyone, they are really good, straight & most of all honest. I guess those guys thought if that mess up my transmission, I would have to go back to them, but thank God for Sparky!

Lonestar Transmissions & Repair was founded by Sparky Sparks in 1997. As a child, Sparky spent his days watching his father work on family cars. It was during this time that Sparky learned the value of every automobile, and learned how the right care and knowledge could extend the life and performance of any car or truck. When Sparky graduated high school he worked for Oldsmobile, where he learned how to use computer based diagnostic tools to enhance his deep knowledge of automobile transmissions and engines. Although Sparky was learning the most advanced techniques in auto repair, he never forgot the lessons he learned from his father all those years ago. Sparky was determined to honor his father by opening a business that would truly offer value to the community. He promised himself to always provide value and outstanding service, regardless of how large his business grew. Sparky has owned and operated his own shops in Missouri since 1981.
