Horizon Auto Center

My mother, who has no knowledge of cars accept to put gas in it, was having engine problems. She went to a auto repair shop in Rockwall and was advised that repairs would cost right at $1000.00. When she called me about the repairs I told her to get a second opinion. She then went to another shop and was told $800.00 to make the repairs. After she described the problem to me again, I told her to go to Horizon Auto Care. Now up to this point I had only used Horizon for oil changes. Off she goes to Horizon and soon calls me back all ecstatic. She had talked to Cliff Payne and was advised that the repairs would only be around $200.00. I immediately drove to Horizon to find out what was wrong with her car. I then learned just how honest the Horizon Auto Care team is. They did not see an elderly woman that they could take advantage of. The other repair center was trying to trump up bogus repairs and costs, I read their repair estimate that was given to Mom. I talked it over with Cliff and he advised that the problem was listed on the estimate but that the rest of the repair items listed were not needed. Horizon made the repairs and her car ran fine till she sold it 6 years later. Since this event, approximately 10-12 years ago, I have never had a second thought in referring any one to Horizon, My wife goes there for all auto related needs, as well as my son. When my daughter starts to drive she to will go to Horizon.

It is a true pleasure to go to Horizon. The entire staff makes you feel welcome and they will answer all of your questions and explain the answer in such a way that you actually understand the problem. It is a family atmosphere. They also have a sense of humor. My son had wrecked his Jeep twice shortly after he started driving. Both times it was taken to Horizon for repairs. The second time Cliff called and asked if he could prank my son. Being the caring father that I am, I quickly said YES. Cliff had hung tires all the way around the Jeep, it looked like a tug boat. As my wife and son pulled up to Horizon he saw the Jeep. He quickly sunk down in the seat and began saying he wasn't getting out of the car. Of course he had to get out to get the Jeep and of course there was the Horizon family standing there to give him the keys. Everyone had a good laugh and my son eventually laughed about it. Of course that took a few months for him to start laughing and telling about it. The good thing is he did not wreck the Jeep again, guess he was afraid what Cliff would do next time.

I highly recommend Horizon Auto Car to any one if they want quality service with honesty and integrity. Cliff, Heath, Chris, Noah and Joseph (there are others there that I have dealt with at Horizon but I do not remember all of their names) are all good people who really do care about their customers.

The service they gave me was great. Very friendly service . I would highly recommend their services to my family and friends.

I just had an engine replaced on my BMW at Horizon. We could not make up our mind for quite a while whether or not to fix the car or buy a newer model. Morgan was very patient with us and searched hard to find us the right engine with a good warranty.

This is the only purely professional repair shop I have ever seen. My husband and daughter each went in separately. They were treated honestly and the repairs were accurate and reasonable

My car was making weird noises when I step on the brakes. They did an excellent job with my brakes and also gave me an explanation of the issues, thanks guys.

Check engine light came on and it scared me to death. Turned out it was a fuse but Horizon fixed it right away the first time.

Reliable as can be every time. I never have any issues or extra drama with any of the employees. They know how to get the job done, and I am satisfied with the work.

I just wanted to thank you for fixing my car. The garage in our former city tried for the past year to figure out the check engine light and could not. It is such a relief to have it fixed and not have to worry about breaking down or ruining the engine. After rarely driving this past year due to the that anxiety, I am now looking forward to traveling.

We were on our way to Tenn and our vehicle we were driving started to overheat. Exxon suggested we visit H.A.C. They were able to find the problem, and took us to Applebee's and came and picked us up when the repairs were done. Fast, friendly, willing to go out of their way to help us. I have been taking my car to Horizon Auto Center for 3 years. I have never met a more honest mechanic. The first time I went there the guy told me to take my car to a muffler shop for a particular fix because it would be cheaper. They are always fast and their pricing is very competitive. My wife and I don't take our cars any where else.

I could take my car in to a shop in Dallas where I work, But I feel extremely confident that I get the best work and value right here in Rockwall. Great shop, recommend it highly.
