Copano Cottages

Very nice new cottages. We stayed in #10 it was a 2 bedroom 2 bath nicely decorated. The kitchen was equipped with the essentials. The only two cons I found during our stay was the smell of sulfur in the bathroom's water. It did go away after turning on the faucet a few times. Also their wifi connection was pretty slow.

Here is the cancellation and reservation policy. This gentleman need to read before accusing people of doing him wrong.



RESERVATION REQUIREMENTS - A payment by credit card of 50% of the total rental fee is required when booking a reservation. You will receive an email confirmation of the payment and details of the reservation. The remaining balance is due no later 30 days prior to your check-in date. By accepting the terms of this rental agreement, you authorize Miss Kitty's to automatically charge your credit card on file for your remaining balance unless you make other payment arrangements. We accepts Visa, MasterCard credit/debit cards, American Express, and Discover. Reservations placed within 30 days of check-in date will require payment in full at the time of booking the reservation and must be paid with credit/debit cards only. We only accept checks on reservations made more than 30 days before the check-in date to allow for time for processing. If paying by check, payment must be received no later than 5 days after booking your reservation or the reservation will be cancelled. Please reference reservation dates and confirmation number when sending checks.

WARNING!!! CONSUMER AND VACATIONERS BEWARE! Beware if you make a reservation and leave your credit card # as security. I've lost half of a full month's rental after leaving my credit card # as security and cancelling on the day of our arrival. In addition, the amount of $550. was chared to my card 2 weeks before our arrival. Unfortunately I had not noticed the charge when cancelling. I've called the owner and we spoke and this huge sum of money is gone for not even staying one night. Maybe I'm not familiar with how it works here in Rockport but I've often cancelled motel reservations. This is not the case at Copano Cottages. BEWARE! If you have had a similar issue, make it known.
