La Bamba Mexican Restaurant

This is my FAVORITE restaurant, by far! The food is great, authentic Mexican cooking and recipes (Most places in the county are owned and run by people who have never been to Mexico). The atmosphere is great, the employees know you if you come regularly (they know my family by name), I just love everything about it. And they're doing great business, they now have three locations - Rockledge, Titusville, and Largo.

We have been looking for a decent traditional Mexican restaurant for a long time and we finally found one! This restaurant doesn't look like much on the outside, but the experience is really one of a kind. When you walk through the door, you are greeted with smiles and friendliness. It's very pleasant. Then, they have warm thin chips and a generous portion of delicious salsa, which you can refill if need be. We haven't tasted the entire menu, but so far, the fish tacos, carne asada plate, and fajitas are excellent! Even the house wine in a carafe is good! The portions are large, and most plates are served with rice and beans (the black beans are so good!). Even the most simple parts of the meal burst with flavor. I felt like I was in a mexican home being served traditional homecooked food. THATS how good it is. I have found that here in Brevard and Indian River counties, its not so easy to come by, so we're definately going back and trying everything on that menu. They even have the menu here:

Definately A++ Experience

I WAS SHOCK AT HOW GOOD THIS PLACE IS. I AM A MEXICAN AMERICAN AND I THOUGHT THAT THE ONLY PLACE IN FLORIDA TO GET MEXICAN FOOD WAS MY MOTHERS HOUSE. NOW MY MOM TAKES A DAY OFF ONCE A WEEK TO GO THERE HERSELF AND ENJOY THE GREAT MEXICAN FOOD AT LA BAMBA. AND LUCKY FOR ME THEY HAVE ONE IN TITUSVILLE, TOO!!

I went to this place and at first was scared. It looks like a hole in the wall. Boy was I wrong! The staff was freindly and the food was EXTRAORDINARY!!!!!!! Fresh Mexican food you can probably only get in Mexico. I recommend it! Try the chicken tortilla soup! Yummy!
