Barkingham Palace

I went to visit my Mom in FL and took my 2 babies to Barkingham Palace to have playtime during the day. I absolutely LOVED it. The staff was very friendly and responsive. The facility was very clean. Everyday my babies came back clean and happy. I was impressed. Thank you, Barkingham Palace for taking such good care of our family.

I highly recommend Barkingham Palace! Our dog was so happy when we picked her up. My family went on a vacation and needed to find a nice place for our dog to stay over while we were out of town. Since we were leaving out of Port Canaveral we decided to board at Barkingham Palace because it was so close. Overall, a great experience - we are very pleased and would definitely recommend them to family and friends. We will be back...

Where do I begin?Lol,,,Honestly I can not say enough about this wonderful home away from home and the loving people who run it, My husband and I had a medical emergency and had to scramble to find a place for our furry family members, We looked in a few other places and checked reviews and came right back to this place. Our dogs were treated with the best of care. Lots of love and attention. I was able to see my babies while I was gone and each time I called the staff had no trouble seeing to my request. OMG! What more can you ask for? If and when I need another caregiver for my babies, Barkingham Palace will be the one hands down, Thank you all so much for the care you gave my boys. And you even walked them together. I am so grateful to have you,

Extremely underwhelmed! I found the place to be very chaotic and in need of organization, but what really galled me was the rudeness of the owner! As a Brevard business owner for over 20 years, I can honestly say that this is no way to build goodwill! This place will never see another dime from me and I'll feel very satisfied to see them out of business since they don't care one iota about their customers, in my opinion.

I was very upset with the experience I had with Barkingham Palace and will never bring my dogs here ever again. I have two big dogs and Barkingham suggested that I put them into the London Suite which ended up being way too small for my dogs. I was told that my dog had been stung by a bee and was brought to their vet for medication since the swelling was so bad only to find out that I needed to take my dog to the vet once again due to the fact that he never got stung by a bee but instead had an infection in his mouth which began almost a week before they even notified me of this issue. When I tried to talk to the staff about this issue they told me that I was wrong and they did everything they were supposed to do.

My son took his dogs there several times and he has been very pleased with the place and the people. We even got to watch his dog on video on our computer. The day I dropped them off, they were nice and friendly and when I picked them up they were clean. They were kept together in a room.

I have been bringing my dog to barkingham to get bathed for 2 years now,and everytime she comes home she is so clean and so happy. The first time we went to barkingham i explained to them that she was a rescue and she can be very nervous at times,and that she has had bad experiences at other places.The staff there was kind and said that they understand and they would be very gentle and go slow with her,and they did. They took such good care of her there. Whenever we get tobarkingham she knows and is almost pulling me down to get in there. Yes she is pulling me down to get a bath. =) We have not gone anywhere else since!!! Barkingham is the greatest!!

We have been bringing our dog here since she was a puppy and are quite satisfied - she is now 7 years old. She has had obedience training and agility training, both of which were professional and well done. We have also had our dog bathed and groomed and are well pleased.



Our dog participates in Doggie Day Care twice a week, They match dogs by size, activity level, age and social skills. Each play session has at least two employees with the dog group playing and monitoring activity, She has been boarded many times (for as many as 16 days in a row), and is always in great condition and spirit when we pick her up.

We board her in the regular kennels, each of which has a doggie bed. All the kennels are clean and well maintained.



The staff is friendly and helpful. The reception area is large, clean and well lit (no doggie or cat smell at all). They even have someone there 24 hours a day. I have recommended this kennel many times and will continue to do so, My dog absolutely loves to go there. This place is a Palace for Dogs!

Barkingham is the best in the area. The kennels are clean and they have a large staff. I've boarded my dogs and cats there many times and have been completely satified every time. If you take a tour of the facility you do not need an appointment. You can just drop in and they'll show you around. They have suites with internet cams so you can view your pets on line. I've boarded my dogs in both the suites and the kennel runs and both are very nice.

I have heard more negative information about theis kennel than good. Even my veterinarian will not refer people here. He said one of his clients escaped while boarding!!! My dog had a bath here once and when I picked her up she still had poopies all over her back side. The female owner told me if I was unhappy to not come back! Huh?? I originally stopped in to inquire about boarding my cat but the smell in the cat area was HORRIFIC and it was right at the front door and stunk up the whole lobby. I should have walked out right then and not left my dog. Lesson learned. Ask around, you will hear similar stories :(
