I have been here multiple times and where I was sketpical at first having had numerous bad dentists in the past, I am fully satisfied with the staff and their expertise dentistry. If you feel something isn't correct with your billing or your services, then TELL THEM. I have had a billing problem in the past and they worked EVERYTHING out for me. Great place.

Comfortable waiting room with Wi-Fi. Harold at the front desk is always cheerful and helpful.

Harold has been nothing but professional and helpful anytime I need him. He is able to answer all my questions and he is an invaluable asset to the practice there.

I had my Wisdom teeth taken out at MVDT and everything went great. The staff was friendly and they answered all my questions days after the surgery as well. I thought the overall experience with the exception of the fact that I had surgery was great.

I enjoy working with Dr. Biery! She is passionate and fun and intensely listens to me when I speak to her. I would highly recommend talking to Dr. Biery first when considering a new Dentist.

We recently found ourselves far from home and in need of an emergency dental appt. We found Mountain View online and they could not have been nicer! The staff went out of their way to make a stressful time so much better for us. While our family member was being seen, the rest of us drank coffee and gatorade and munched on homemade brownie bites. To top it off they gave a deep discount to us, as we have no dental insurance. Friendly, clean, and reasonably priced--what a winning combination for a dental office! Found myself wishing there was a dentist office like this one near my home. Highly Recommend!

Getting a new dentist... What happened at my appointment (after a year of services) was nothing short of actions I would expect to find at a used car dealership. I tried to write them a nice letter on their website, but the 'contact us' section only allows for 1,000 characters (and there's no email address!) The best thing about this place is the hygienists. They are super nice people...I'm not sure how they manage in a place where the dentists don't seem to communicate with one another and change treatment plans the day you arrive. After my last appointment I was told by the scheduling/billing people that I would need another crown (one NOT previously mentioned by the dentist). The only thing the dentist mentioned during my appointment was her upcoming weekend get away to the beach -.- You shouldn't go somewhere that people swiping your credit card are the ones dishing out treatment plans. It was like going in for a schedule oil change and being told you need your engine replaced. How can you say someone needs a crown without showing them x-rays/giving an explanation? Ridiculous.

Horrible place! Staff is rude. On my first visit the thought they were going to just whisk my children away to "the back" while I sat on the front on the building. I don't think so. Then the teenage assistant had a smarty pants attitude about it. I told her she was a stranger and my children don't just go with strangers. On the second appointment I brought it up to the dentist, who said "I need to build a relationship of trust with my patient" Whit my 8yr old? I don't think so. They should worry about building a relationship of trust with the parent first. I trust my children's pediatrician and he has NEVER asked to be in a room alone with them. Then the other teenage assistant had an attitude and something to say about it too. I would never recommend this place to anyone, actually we are not even going back there to finish the treatment plan.

This is the MOST AMAZING OFFICE I HAVE EVER BEEN TOO. If i would've listened to these quacks then i would have not found such an amazing office to go to. I have never had a more unique, fun experience in my life.

STAY AWAY! They have RUINED my daughters perfect teeth. They said she had a "pinhole" cavity...well, by the time they were done, she had almost no tooth left and needs a crown, which they said to wait 6 months to a year to actually put on. They did the same thing on the other side as well on a different tooth. They then told us she had 9 cavities all together, she did not.

They wanted to take her wisdom teeth out, since they havent come in yet, in thier little room for surgery, the surgeon comes in once a month on Saturdays and does this. NO THANK YOU!

They told us nitrous wasnt insured but she needed it to calm her nerves, they ran up our insurance by telling us that things were covered which wernt.

At the end of the day, 600$ worth of work that wasnt covered after they said it was.

They also said our other daughter had 7 cavities, which she had 1 according to another dentist.

The only reason we took her to this dentist was they were the only ones that took our insurance in Harrisonburg. now we go to Richmond.



While I was there, I over heard them making another mother feel like horrible becuase she couldnt afford the $1,000+ work that they said her daughter needed.



The staff is very nice though, but the dentists.....STAY AWAY FROM!

I went to mountain view dental and was told I needed 9 different things done to my teeth. I trusted their judgement and they ran out my dental benefits doing the work. After two days of replacing old fillings they told me they had depleted my insurance and that I still needed 600 in work. Several weeks later I had pain on both sides of my mouth and went to another dentist to have their crappy work repaired. I've heard several people claim they were told they had several cavities and after getting a second opinion told that they had none. They make you believe you need a ton of work when in fact they are just trying to get your money.

They pushed me to put an expensive crown on a child's temporary tooth. It came out within the year, but had I listened to them, it would have cost a fortune. It was really a hard sell and they made me feel like a horrible mom until I got a second opinion. An inexpensive filling somewhere else worked fine. They have quite a reputation for making you feel like you "need" more than you really do.

I am afraid of the dentist but I took my kids anyways. This office was so nice from the interior of the building to all the staff. It was such a great experience and my kids had such a great time that i made an appointment for my husband and even myself. Great dental office. Great staff. Great experience.
