Founded in 1968, it is a family-owned and operated business located in Rockford, Mich., and Qingdao, China. Grand Rapids Controls employs more than 250 people at its two non-union manufacturing facilities that encompass approximately 90,000 square feet. The company s goal is to be a leading supplier of motion control products. Its products include plastic actuators, mechanism control systems, rotary flex-shaft assemblies, armrest assemblies, push-pull control cables and power sliding window or power products. Grand Rapids Controls processes include conduit manufacturing, automatic molding, insert molding, zinc die-casting, part decorating and automated assembly.
