if you are looking to rent a house or apartment, I highly recommend Homes now. They care about their tenants and take care of their properties. The office staff are great to work with.

My experience with Homes Now has been enjoyable over the past couple of years. I have no complaints with the service they have provided to me.

I am a current resident an I have had a good experience with Homes Now. Any time I have a issue with my apartment it has been addressed in a timely manner. Becky is always willing to help an has a pleasant attitude as well as the other staff in the office .

I have been with homes now for over a year now..and I will say iv never had an issue..Becky is always willing to work with me and has always been very respectful to talk to..any time I have had an issue at my home..homes now takes care of it asap. I would recommend renting from homes now!!

I recently sold my home of 45 years here in Rockford, IL. At a critical juncture, of the closing date and the need for housing, I approached Homes Now. They did an outstanding job on a very professional level to work with me on that transition. For those that don't know, at a closing, things can fall through, that puts a person between a rock and hard place.
Homes Now worked with me on that and everything has turned out great!!
Since taking over my new apartment, anything and everything that has been a concern, has been handled timely and again in a professional manner by the management and ownership of Homes Now. They have made my Christmas card list!!

While looking for an affordable apartment, I came across HomesNow. Although I only recently moved in, my experiences with Becky and Angel have been awesome. After a miscommunication with one of the maintainence guys, Becky called me to follow up and to apologize to me.

some people may have good experiences because they "personally know the staff or whatever " but mines was terrible with it being my first place i would never recommend them to anyone they seem to pay more attention to certain properties. other properties is nice looking at first sight but later things start falling apart. NEVER again.

After a year of experience with Homes Now, and many years of knowing the owner, I would have to say that I find the comments below to be very unjust. While any of the staff members would be the first to admit that mistakes happen and there are things that need to be improved, the company as a whole does its utmost to provide friendly and timely service to all customers-current tenants as well as applicants. Becky has the unenviable task of always having to be the one to give people bad news, having to filter out dishonesty and having to deal with many unfair and harsh accusations. She takes on an incredible amount and I have seen her go out of her way to accommodate the needs of tenants and applicants alike. There are many improvements and updates being done to the properties, and Louie will always make sure to take care of his customers.

i have been a tenant of homes now since 2007, with that being said..I am and always have been pleased with the properties that I have lived in. I have recommended them to friends and family and they are current tenants as well. The staff is very courteous and I would like to give a special shout out to Becky, thanks for all that you do.

I have been a tenant for about a year and a half and I must say that I have had the best business relationship with Homes Now. I have had to call them a few times for things that have had to get attention but they handled them in a timely manor. The staff has always been very pleasant each and everytime I have had to stop in the office. And i would also like to point out that I have recommended them to several friends to look at there different apt locations and my friends have never said anything negative about the location and the staff so I very pleased with my apt as well as the staff.

I have known the managers at Homes Now for many years and I can attest to the fact that they are upstanding people who don't do the things mentioned below. I've seen the managers stay late to accommodate tenants and to help them move in. I have found them to be a reputable business.

Would never rent from them again!

i just left and im upset because the management tried to tell me i was automatically signed into a new lease since i did not give a 60 day notice but i expressed to them i only wanted a 1 year lease and i never agreed to do the two year they tried to trick me into paying another month which would automatically enroll me into another year lease. The apartment looks great at first but once you are moved in its really poorly put together.I was late on my last months rent so when i called to pay it that's when they began to tell me this and i had already moved my things out and dropped of the keys. I'm still waiting to get the issue resolved and thinking about getting a lawyer.

I am a current resident . I can definitely agree with the comments below. This is my very first apartment and they took full advantage of that by making me pay first and last months when I moved in plus deposit. There apartments seem nice until you more in , they also give you 1week 2 give them a list of what works and doesn't work, which is not really enough time when your moving especially for the first time . one thing that really bothers me is I've called previously about my knob 2 my tub being loose and they barely fixed it because I tried to run bath water and when I went 2 turn it off it won't turn off . I called Homes now and I have been waiting 2 hours with my water just running, not 2 mention if you go over on water they bill you for it

I agree with Stephanie. Everything LOOKED good when I 1st viewed my apt and not even 2 months in things started to fall apart. Its like they covered up everything instead of actually FIXING it. My neighbors dont work so they're extremely noisey at crazy hours and when I call to complain no one ever calls me back. The nice management you get when you sign your lease, is not the same managment you get after you move in. I WOULDNT recommend them to ANYONE.! I am a current resident btw. Since I've been living here 3 residents have moved out in less than 4 months.

I'm a current tenant of homes now and I would NOT recommend them to anyone. They treat their tenants like crap and their building managers and employees even worse. Everything in the apartments is cheap and typically breaks down or wasn't installed right in the first place.
