I travel all over the world for business meetings, events and on occasion for pleasure. This time it was to be at an event held at the Coronado Theater. The Hotel Concierge in Chicago recommended a small salon called "Lloyd Gregg". "If you really want a talented person with an exceptional eye for detail, you need to book an appointment with Brent Jones". When I called, I was told that he is booked 3 - 4 months in advance. Needless to say... I was going to have to figure something else out. I was impressed as to how kind they were on the phone and to please call back should I ever be in Rockford again. ~ I did just that with a little more notice this time. I can't say enough how impressed I was with just the over-all cut, style and personal treatment. It's not a fancy salon with gilded "this and that"...or Staff members that never shut up. It's Quiet, Relaxing and Music that is tasteful.~ No Drama at this Salon! I will definitely be back!!! Thanks again Brent! Elle
I went in a couple weeks ago just to see what their packages were for bridal parties and had such great service! I live in Alaska currently and I am having my wedding back home in IL in May. This was my last time I will be back in Rockford before the wedding. I went in a day before I left and they hurried up and made the time for me to get an extensions consultation, cut, and full highlight/lowlight. I couldn't believe how helpful they were being. I left with all my appointments booked for May for my bridal party, moms, and me, a great haircut, color, and style and some products. I was also with my soon to be mother-in-law and they helped give her some tips and products specifically for her hair. She later went back and bought it. I will never go to any other salon back in Rockford except this one!
In response to the review below. Our salon runs by appointment only, therefore we run and work off our appointment book, if someone is late that causes us to be late for the next appointment and so on. If a client is more than 15 minutes late we have the right to reschedule them in order to give adequate time for the service. Offering to not shampoo or style in order to still receive a service is always offered to the client if time allows to do so if they desire. We strive to please all of our clients and deeply apologize for the mishap.
