On a recent visit to New York I had the opportunity to visit Lux Lounge in the heart of the city of Rochester in one of the art districts. Before entering Lux, the sidewalks are lined with an array of metal sculptures where the parking meters used to be. Upon entry I noticed a lot of local art of different Medias, on the walls were paintings, a very interesting lighted wall sconce, the furniture, and surfaces is all original art. A one word summery could include “alternative” but labels are way too defining for a place like Lux. One could say there is an eclectic side show of misfits, barroom philosophers, and circus people. Now side barring the jest…there was an event for its 5th year called Luxgiving which is an equivalent to Thanksgiving, and held about the same time of year. This is when you notice a change from the typical stereotype of the bar scene, more like a neighborhood affair. The atmosphere was warm, the patrons and their families, the employees, and of course the owner, put out a room full of food and all was welcomed. The backyard is an icon of its own. It’s large, with plenty of places to sit, under the canopy, at picnic tables, or around the fire chimney. The hospitality world is known for a high turn over of its employees, yet the staff at Lux treats themselves, and the patrons like a family, again helping to create the feeling that you’re welcomed in. To try something different, or just shoot a game of pool, chances are you’re going to remember Lux, so let the blitzes begin! eSocrates

Just got home from a very enjoyable dinner with our neighbors. This was the first time we had visited the Horn. We were able to go right to our table on a Sunday night. My wife had the Salmon, I had a Steak smuthered in musrooms and sauteed onions with Baked potato. Our neighbors wife had Steak and Shrimp her husband had a half rack of Ribs. Hats of to the Chef all meals were prepared to perfection. The salads were very well presented. All in all the food, atmosphere and the waitress made for a very enjoyable evening. The LongHorn Steakhouse is now on our list to revisit when the time presents itself.
From the day we started with WordPrax, they have shown us an immense passion for my WordPress customization project. As we're located in Australia, we had our meeting over the phone or by email. But their communication was instant, clear and concise. We have got the 100% customer support and timeliness. These guys have delivered us best and made us feel as if we were part of their project development process, although I was not there physically. The entire team did a fantastic job with our project. It was the best decision to work with WordPrax.
