Just went to Nail Classics/Star Nails at…

Just went to Nail Classics/Star Nails at 1729 Monroe Ave. Brighton New York, for a pedicure with an 8 week old gift certificate. The "owner" wouldn't accept it, saying he was a "new owner" and I would have to contact the "old owner" to get my money back! He gave me some bogus cell phone number to call the "old owner". When I said that was his problem not mine, he said the "old owner" wouldn't take his phone calls! ( what makes him think my calls would be answered) There were no signs that "old" gift certificates were no longer valid. (BTW there was no expiration date on the certificate, either) I don't know what part of his story is completely bull but it could be all of it!
