After many unsatisfactory purchases and disappointed meals of grilled NY Strip and Rib-eye, steaks I traveled to Palmer's this past Saturday. I purchased a 20 lb Rib-eye Loin. Saturday evening we grilled two of the steaks. They melted in or mouths and the flavor was like I remember beef used to taste from the grill. Yesterday we baked a roast cut from the same loin and when my wife started to insert the thermometer, she found it very easy to insert it into it.The meat is that tender.
We tired of Wegman's inconsistency of offered cuts and attitude. The shopper clubs are no better. Our local butcher shop would just shrug and apologize for their inconsistent grades and tenderness. Well we will be coming back to Palmer's again. Your new store is clean and everybody behind the counter and at the register is sincerely helpful.
