I just took my girls and her friends to Glamour Nails for a mani/pedi. And also wanted one for myself! I love the atmosphere here, and they are so kid-friendly.As soon as I walked in she offered coffee or a beverage for me. They are very friendly and want you to have the best experience there. They even drew little designs on every finger for the girls! I felt GREAT after my pedicure, and even got the "wax hand" also called Parrafin and my hands felt so smooth. I enjoyed my experience very much there and definately will make it a regular trip every month!
I've been going to Glamour Nails since they opened. More then 10 years now! There service is great and far from what is being said. I do believe if someone is more sensitive to cuticle cutting and such, maybe a pedicure is not the right choice for you. I'm sure there nail file isn't like jaw's teeth the way you explained pain. I see many people in and out with wonderful smiles and the way the customer service is there is full of laugh and giggles. I am always excited to hear there jokes when I make my appointments. Even over the phone they make me smile! I agree with user below, dont step foot in glamour nails if you are looking for an easy way to get your money back by making up nonsense or have no personality! Glamour nails is by far one of the best nail salons in Greece!
Clean,Experience, Great staff, friendly atmosphere . Would definitely go again.
Do not, I repeat do not, get a pedicure at Glamour Nails! I had the misfortune of "treating" myself to torture at this establishment. I experienced a small amount of pain while the technician (and I use the word loosely!) filed my toe nails with a very stiff, very abrasive emery board. When I got home I had difficulty pulling off my trouser socks. To my horror, I discovered that was because of the sticky blood that surrounded two toenails, one on each foot. I immediately cleansed the areas with hydrogen peroxide and then applied Neosporin. I awoke in the middle of the night with a throbbing sensation in both feet. Upon inspection, I found the skin at the end of both bleeding toenails was now inflamed and swollen. More hydrogen peroxide and Neosporin. The next day, I was only able to wear soft slippers since it was so painful to put any pressure on my toes. I continued the Neosporin and the following day noted reduced redness and inflammation. I could finally wear shoes and went to Glamour Nails to show the manager what had occurred. She never once said the magic words of all good customer service, "I'm sorry." Instead she brushed me off with the comment, "You were cut by the emery board. That happens." When I politely asked for a well-deserved refund, I was told, "No refund for pedicure. You got pedicure." I responded, "In other words, you do not guarantee customer satisfaction." Her retort was, "You got pedicure. No refund." This was a most unprofessional and unethical. A business that does not stand behind its service is to be avoided.
