The Dryden Theatre features a range of movies and can accommodate up to 535 people. Its projection booth is equipped with reel-to-reel Kinoton and Century projectors. The theater is also outfitted with an advanced sound system designed to reproduce soundtracks for contemporary and archival screenings. It has more than 40,000 visitors each year and is a part of George Eastman House, which is an international museum of photography and films. The Dryden Theatre, established in 1951, has a film society for patrons who want to know about the filmmaking process. The theater is also available for corporate members, charitable nonprofit associations, photo-related organizations and universities.
