Poor Product, Poor Quality of Work and Poor Customer Service
Unfortunately we went with Bedford Paving to install a new driveway, they had the best price, ultimately I should have read up more on them before I went with them because the price was not worth what I received, which was a sub par driveway which was poorly installed.
From the start, there were many red flags, calls to their office were handled poorly, their receptionist was always rushing to get off the phone, she had no answers to any questions and if you asked to speak to anyone in charge, you get the same response "Everyone is out on a job right now". I also received the excuse, "we are really busy right now", funny because as a customer I thought my calls and questions were important....apparently not.
Being apprehensive after about going through with the driveway after the botched customer service, I asked the foreman on the day of the job a lot of questions,most of which he replied "we will take care of it". Again, this attitude was indicative of the finished product. The installation did not go very well and the foreman said "everything will be fine, just wait a couple of weeks for things to settle". We waited and the finished product still looked poorly done. We paid to have our old driveway torn out and a new driveway put in and when all was said and done, the new driveway looked horrible.
Customer Service Follow up
We called and told Bedford about how unhappy we were with their work, of course their receptionist did nothing to help us but tell us how busy they were and after months and months they sent us a letter telling us they would not do anything about the driveway, that it was installed to the specifications in their contract and that was that. It is painfully obvious that Bedford doesn't care about their customers, they get the jobs, make you sign the contract and then have no time for you if you have questions or problems with their work.
This was a horrible experience, we wanted to write this review to warn potential consumers about the poor product and atrocious customer service. Call them with some questions and you will see exactly what we are talking about. They don't know their product and don't care about anything except making a sale and moving on. Hopefully this review will help you, I wish we had seen this before we went with them!

Bedford Paving takes pride in its work product, customers and 40+ year reputation. In fact, the BBB reviewed this issue and concurred with Bedford Paving. Bedford Paving takes pride in its A+ BBB rating. This particular customer chose to ignore the expert advice of Bedfrod Paving. Customer's are encouraged to call the office should they have any specific questions.
