I'm usually a 5-star fan of Enterprise Rent-A-Car, but was a bit disappointed, a week ago, when I went to rent a car from them. I set up my reservation online, and called the rental office the morning of the day I wanted the rental, to set up a time for them to come pick me up, as I needed a ride to the rental office. Imagine my surprise, when I was told that they had NO ONE to pick me up, and I would have to make my way there, on my own! Seriously? Hello?? This is what you base YOUR ENTIRE ADVERTISING SCHEME ON, is "Enterprise, we pick you up!" Well, except when we don't! Since I needed the car on time, and couldn't wait for a friend to drive over to give me a ride, I called for a taxi, and "enjoyed" paying an extra $27 for what should have been a free ride, courtesy of Enterprise, to their offices. I'm not sure what the story was that day, but if you're doing to advertise a service, you'd better darn well make certain you actually perform that service for your customers!
Our rental Camray's tire went flat overnight while at a local motel. Thrifty employee Andrew quickly responded to our call the following morning and brought us a replacement vehicle with minimal delay. When we returned home to Phoenix a week later, I realized that I'd left my sunglasses in the rental vehicle. When I phoned, it was Andrew who answered. My sunglasses arrived by mail three days later. We appreciate Andrew's professionalism and courtesy and we will certainly rent from Thrifty on our return to Rochester.
I travel frequently for my job. It is important for me to feel comfortable when I am away from home. National takes all of the stress out of renting a car! My car is ready as soon as I arrive; I just have to pick up my key. The cars are always clean and in perfect condition - and what a variety! The staff is very friendly and accommodating. I find myself looking forward to getting my "new car" each trip. And I love my own car! National is in a league of its own.
